@TurtleShroom: Once all mods are updated to 1.5, or decent alternatives exist to replace them, and I get back into RimWorld as a result, then I'll definitely be doing that with a new collection as I know there is nothing worse than to have a mod author (or collection curator) force an update on you when you've just gotten everything stable/set up a specific way in a playthrough.

Do you plan on updating this for the V1.5 version of "Rimworld".

I'm banned for life from the official "Rimworld" Discord chat room. To their credit, I totally deserved the first strike and brought the second on myself for screeching in the chat room instead of reporting bad behavior quietly like a sane person. The third was posting too many logs on the "post your error logs" section.

I deserved the ban, TBH.

@TurtleShroom: RimWorld taught me the basics, and the modding community the rest! It could be a perfect time to try it out and see how it goes! :rshout:

Sadly, I can't do any C-Sharp whatsoever. I have a full megabyte consisting almost exclusively of pure XML Patches, with two or three Textures (no more than five or six kilobytes) present.

@TurtleShroom: I mean, ideally it'd all be Harmony patches. They're lightweight and you can easily handle any situation and also allow the user to edit them, or toggle (enable/disable) the changes on the fly, like all of my Harmony patches do. If I had the time I'd have converted all my patches to Harmony ones, but eh...

My Mod also has no C-Sharp changes and had hundreds of Patches and changes.

I would say that my Patch is likely more ablative, as it actually removes some duplicates by replacing the Thing Def with Filth of the same key (to avoid any situations where total removal would cause eerrors).

@TurtleShroom: Definitely do release it then, or I'd be happy to share the mod page with you if you'd want to join forces and merge! If patches are done correctly they shouldn't cause any issues, aside from if they touch the same thing then you'd just get the last overwrite. There are just way too many mods and variations out there, being able to have a nice megapatch that can handle things regardless of your mod load order is just such a boon!

I've been ever expanding that mega Patch for YEARS. It gets bigger most every week.

@TurtleShroom: I say do it, let this be the sign you needed to get it done! I know what a mission it can be, I've done nothing but this for the past 4 months, and let me tell you the relief that it is finally released! :rshout: And sure, if you want to reach out I'd be happy to chat!

Great minds think alike. I have a custom collection of Patches that might be even bigger than this one. I've considered publishing it in the past, and this sort of inspires me to reconsider. Perhaps we could join forces?

@The Dutchman: Glad to hear it, and thanks for the heads-up! I would REALLY love to hear from you what you think if you get a chance. Can always backup your current playthrough/saves/config, and then one-click install the collection and let me know your thoughts? I am also open to making the instructions on installing clearer if they aren't, although I feel it is just a massive wall of text at the moment. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Works now, didnt work earlier. Steam issue i'd assume. Definitely interested in seeing what this does though. Appreciate the info, was just going off the screenshot since it didnt look that extensive. I sit corrected!

That Nexus mod link might get you noticed by Steam though, they seem to have cracked down on offsite links the past few days unfortunately. Lots of people getting their github and rimpy links forced off for no good reason.

@The Dutchman: Thanks for stopping by! Does the link that points to the Rimano collection in the description not work for you? That details an exhaustive list of what the collection does, and this mod is meant to be used alongside it. The amount of changes this adds is, overwhelming... I honestly think I'd reach the Steam workshop cap if I tried to list it all. The TL;DR is that it ensures over ~300+ mods in the collection work alongside each other without any issues, often patching mods to support each other, or extending them. If you do download the mod, feel free to take a peek at the Patches folder and I'm sure you'll see why!

Significantly easier to have the description say what the mod does rather than force people into wasting their time booting Rimworld to see if they even want to use the mod
