Sometimes I can't recruit Lothloren or Noldor armies after i hit the decision. Has anyone else had this issue? I do have a decently long mod list.

Lol i did notice how expensive the armies was but i thought it was normal with how good they were so i just dealt with it.

I just double checked because I managed to unlock them both, it's only the Noldor armies that have crazy prices. Galadrian units are normal

The only mod that I use that could maybe affect other men at arms would be Oathbound I think, I also use Cities of Wonder and Vanilla Road Network? I'm not sure how they'd impact it though. Everything else is just cosmetic (Nameplates, CoA Emblem pack, Battleground Commanders, etc)

I am not sure if this is intentional, but the upkeep of any Noldor units for me has been 50 gold unraised? Is there any way I could fix this?

Based on my experience, the cost of a unit is automatically generated according to its combat effectiveness. It's unlikely to remain cheap when it's powerful.

Yeah they are way to expensive as is. One unit will bankrupt any empire that does not have a massive income. I understand they need to be expensive due to their stats but not as much as they are. Maybe reduce it to about a quarter of what they are. That would let an empire have at least 1 while not completely destroying their economy. Or if possible maybe make it so you can only have 1 unit at all and once you pick that unit the other options go away. Then you could have it at a normal reasonable price while not letting players have a massive army of them.

I couldn't get elf armies when i used hybrid choice i could use the decisions for noldor & lothloren but didn't get the option to recruit the armies after i had used the decision

you can fix it by adding a line in the LOTR_elf_decision file:

hidden_effect = {
root.culture = { add_innovation = innovation_noldorin_army }
....
}
its not elegant cause it will at the innovation to the characters culture regardless of heritage but it will work

The Noldor armies don't appear at all despite the decision. When I click on it nothing happens. Any idea why?

@Nobutora, just FYI started as an unlanded elf. The elven MAA don't consume resources (i.e., don't need food while traveling and/or moving to a new camp). I like not having to feed them, but not sure if this was intentional or not.

Ok note to others: I found a Holy Site now. The trick was, funding and group size can be changed. I thought these were just give informations. I didn't know you can change that. Doh. With both maxed they stay longer, have more people and make it more likely to find a Holy Site.

Maybe it should be mentioned - or I overlooked it.

@Yuya a mod was doing a conflict, i am doing a new playthrought and without ascended tribal government i unlocked Ñoldor troops

Oh never mind once I got the ascended tribal government type in my culture it unlocked the option. You may want to list that in the requirements since it is not listed atm.

Update still seems to have issues with the current version of the elf destiny mod. I have all of the requirements but it still will not let me get the Noldor troops. I have the portal open, I am independent my character is a king, and a High Elf. But it shows a red exclamation point when mousing over the button saying All of these but there is nothing listed. Is there maybe another requirement that is not listed that could be the issue?

Lovely mod. One thing I would recommend you change tho, is the strength of some of these elven units. Noldor units should always have at least 200 Damage, 100 Toughness and 50 Pursuit.

most things that don't require the elf trait work fine but the decisions for better troops don't appear anymore.
