Love the 2k mods you do, these do a fantastic job of improving the game's clarity while retaining its visual identity and room for memory overhead (32-bit cap leeway) :health:

@Samuels' Chili Shop The colour corrections are from the Steel Blue Night sky colour correction addon, but also from Reshade. I use ambient light, MXAO and RTGI. For the Sky I use the Informal Skyboxes addon with the fix for The Last Stand

What are the color corrections and skyboxes you're using? They look so atmospheric.

@Bene cool, aren't you planning to release a collection/pack of vehicles in 2K/4K format in the future?
Bane  [author] 23 Apr, 2024 @ 6:17am
@murdbash sorry forgot to change it to unlisted

@Bane unfortunately, I can't follow the links that you wrote, I get an error message: "Sorry! The object could not be accessed. Please try again."

@Bane there was already a mod to improve the humvee before you. Create your own mods and don't look at what was done before you, you can do better! Before you, there was a mod to improve the humvee from SashaDudeRUS, and 4K textures are declared in its mod, but at the same time your humvee 2K is better, for some reason it is more detailed than Sasha's mod (if I understand correctly what 2K is and what 4K is)

@Bane in general, there are vehicles pack 4K by Szalik, but personally I don't see any texture improvements in his kit, just some scratch textures are applied to vehicles, and that's it. For example, some rusty spots of terrible quality have been preserved, they have not been fixed, just put on scratch textures. And in his set of vehicles there is a dubious bus, which, as for me, does not fit into the atmosphere of the game (i hope the Google translator translated my words correctly)

@Bane of course there is! Here is an example of the most terrible models of vehicles, which it is impossible to look at without tears:

The rest of the models are still tolerable (although we would like to improve them too).

@murdbash hmmm, any that haven't been done yet?

Glock mod?

Would you be okay if I port this over to Garry's Mod if so I thought of adding it to my L4D Prop Fixes and it would be a neat addition for both Humvees

@Bane Again, thank you so much, mate!

Bane  [author] 9 Apr, 2024 @ 8:17pm
@T626 It works fine, you can see in the screenshots as I use both
Bane  [author] 9 Apr, 2024 @ 8:14pm
@Carol the Black Mesa Lunch Lady yeah, I mean the texture was super low quality, there were no normal maps and it did not even have anisotropic filtering. The camo humvee seen on Deathtoll at least had a flat normal map
Blue Mr Gutsy 9 Apr, 2024 @ 11:39am
@Bane the Parish Humvees possibly use lower textures do to the 360 like the other L4D1 Urban cars

@Bane Okay. Thanks mate!
Bane  [author] 8 Apr, 2024 @ 7:34pm
@well I tested it and I didn't see any problems, although I would love to know why the Parish humvees seem to use a low res texture
T626 8 Apr, 2024 @ 6:52pm
@Bane Do think this mod of yours will compatibly alongside https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2777117212&searchtext=Prop+Fix+L4D2+Humvee+??? Frankly, I'm not really sure, myself.
Bane  [author] 8 Apr, 2024 @ 6:52pm
@ Raizen, @Carol the Black Mesa Lunch Lady Thank you
Bane  [author] 8 Apr, 2024 @ 6:50pm
@Ceno yes! I had to also merge the new parts into the picture on the body of the humvee using multply and soft light layers to cancel out the light areas, one I had everything in I also needed to use clone tools to adjust the paintwork, etc.. Was a bit time consuming. I used photos of real humvee lights that you can purchase online and scaled them in editing them so they fit with the image
Blue Mr Gutsy 8 Apr, 2024 @ 2:38pm
Hot diggity dog this is magnificent!

Ceno 8 Apr, 2024 @ 11:16am
God damn, pretty faithful I'd say to the real thing. I assume you used a combination of real photos?
