look up ZU-64, the cupola of T-64 that had remote MG
Also, from T-64A to other more modern versions, it has remote controlled NSVT, unlike T-72 or T-80

T-64BV & T-64BM are essentially new tanks & aren't really usable for the majority of cold war scenarios. The T-64 & T-64A were the main MBT of the USSR for much of the cold war, so it's nice to finally see it.
IRL those panels fold out to increase the front protective arc of the tank from HEAT and HESH shells, like a sideways cope cage but they kind of worked.
