I wanted to share my simple yet effective MC, check out my latest YT video where I showed how to make it.

Also I am not claiming this is the best and only way, as for your question, yes it can do basically what you said but that mainly relies on generator power

But how is it special over literally any other diesel-electric engine? Does it have some special maths to ramp up engine throttle when more electricity is required or?

Felix its a diesel generator. It produces electricity for electric motors / your creation in general. Its very good. 5 stars from me :steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:

I don't know how to answer your question, this is diesel-electric powertrain, nothing more or less.
