Oh, it says in your description that the mod doesnt work so I thought it was confirmed to not work but u didnt know how to fix it

No idea it worked well when i first made it. I recently ported it on v69 and didnt tried a gameplay with it

I was able to make muskets function without any problems in my mod so I could probably fix the issue you are having

what the problem with the muskets in combat? Do they not aim well? Do no damage?

Yeah i'll ask there. I will learn myself so im able to add whatever i want without being dependant of other people. I mean i dont want to bither everyone each time i want to do something. Wii'll see.

Hey. I updated for v68. Adapted everything. Sadly combat is still a mess. I mean they do shot every 15-20 seconds. That hit and kill. But its meh

Looking forward to seeing this updated when stable version is out. Any chance you could include pikes, and breatsplates and morions in this? Would love to RP, some pike & shot era warfare. Musket.txt is apparently corrupt, redownloaded twice now. But judging from what I'm reading the mod is broken regardless. Good luck with updates though.

Yeah i had same problems during the tests. I just used the same file as bows just modifies the values. I think the mod is kinda broken. But without scripts im kinda limited

i'm not sure if it's because the game's combat is utter dogshit or if the mod is broken somehow but they just don't shoot
they sit there in a line, it says "firing" and then it never happens

Sorry guys took time, i doubled the damage, tell me if it need to be tweaked again. For V66 im not sure when i will do it. ( and btw its my first time making a mod using stats etc for the weapon so sorry if its not perfect but at the start i made the mod for myself, and only then decided to post it )

I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle, and blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog.
I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads". The grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms.
Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up.

Can the unit that equip with musket fight in melee? From the Icon i see, it has bayonet. Or is this not the case and the unit will literally die in melee?

Hi what race is best with the muskets? And should I train them at the archery range to get better with the musket? What formation should I use? I'm having trouble making these effective

Really like the mod, but I think changing the sound effect to a "volley fire" would be super cool. Smoke effects if possible would be nice, but otherwise this is plenty fine!
