Problem resolved, I unsub/resub RimHUD and everything works now. I must have been a version behind for some reason.

Just uploaded a fix to the designation tab (e.g. rotating furniture or using the new shapes when building).

@Khadgarion I remember fixing that bug sometime last year, I wonder why you're still seeing it.

Hey! Thanks for updating this. I really missed using all 3 monitors while playing Rimworld.

I do have a small issue, When I click on a colonist, the window appears where it should but the buttons above it are on the far left of the screen. I am using RimHUD and that seems to be causing the issue as disabling RimHUD makes the issue go away.

I feel like an a-hole asking about this lol if you don't want to look into it that's totally okay, it's still playable :)

I changed the hugslib requirement to the 1.6 fork. I'll change it back to the original once its updated.

Added support for 1.6

Now enforcing maximum width for animal/work/mech/schedule tabs

Reduced minimum ui width from 33% to 30%

I'll be on the lookout for anything new I need to account for in Odyssey once it comes out.

Hello, really nice mod without it I can't play rimworld.
Do you think is possible to add support to Vanilla Psycast Expanded? when I open the pyscast tab the window size is too big and I can't see all the psycast trees.

Thanks so much for making this. Drives me nuts when I can't move the UI to the center of the screen on my ultrawide. Wonderful, simple mod.

@Gump Could you elaborate on what setup you're using that needs less than 33%? I figured 33% was the right size so that all the UI would be on the middle screen in a triple monitor setup. What is being trimmed off?

How crazy is this! I've been looking for this for years. I even tried to pay a modder to create it but he said he didnt know how too! This is honestly game changing for me mate!

If I could have one small tweak, is there a way to increase the UI width to below 33%. That way I can play in a bezel less mode rather than trimming off the edges.

But honestly this is so useful!

You're welcome! You can add or remove this mod from your save at any time without any issues. You shouldn't need to edit any files.

Adding support for stacked monitors would be quite a lot of work since every UI element needs it's positioning code to be modified individually, there isn't a global setting I can modify.

I shared the source code on GitHub so if you or anyone else would like to submit a pull request or make your own mod with that feature you're more than welcome to, but I don't plan to add it myself.

I was also wondering how easy it would be to take my save with this mod plus the prerequisites, HugsLib and Harmony with no other mods back to vanilla? I believe, I may be able to just rename the ModConfig.xml file and hope for the best? Thank you so much for creating a centered UI mod!!

Hi Kosaro. Found another problem - achievements screen doesn't show buttons if your mod is on.
Maybe also ignore moving it, same as you did with resources?
Same for the empire hierarchy screen.

Added an optional setting to keep the resource list on the edge of the screen to prevent it from getting in the way.

Fixed the drone notification.

I took a look at the days of food remaining thing and I don't think that's vanilla. I believe its from Food Alert (Continued), so I went ahead and added support for that mod too!

Great work with fixing the buttons, seems that the only thing that is not changing its position is the amount of days of food remaining.
Could be just me, though. Almost 500 mods.

@Gula good catch! I went ahead and fixed that in my update just now alongside adding RimHUD 1.4 support.

I'll go ahead and include your helpful guide in the description so it doesn't get lost in the comments :)

@JoeOwnage as cool as that would be I'm afraid that's out of scope of this mod, it would entail a lot of extra work.

Sorry for the spam, now that I've played with it for a bit longer (still playing in 1.4) I will say that I'm noticing that the "alerts" system pop-up message isn't popping up where I expect. For instance when a plant dies to cold weather, the pop-up is still on the far left side of ultra-wide. That one might be ez to fix... and I dont think any other mods I have are clashing with it. This mod does not simply enable larger render resolution. Instead you'll have to configure Surround in order to get multi-monitor display to work.

Right click your desktop and go to NVIDIA Control Panel. Under 3D Settings, select "Configure Surround, PhysX". Now enable "Surround Configuration" checkbox that says "Span Displays with Surround" and be sure to configure your monitors to the proper sort order (once you configure, wait a few moments for the displays to start rendering). Congratulations now you are in surround.

Which means that you can launch the game (or any game really) and enable the resolution you see, in my case I now have the option to go in to Rimworld options > Graphics > Resolution dropdown now has setting "7680x1440" available.

First off, I saw you on Reddit this morning and I just want to say THANK YOU FOR THIS MOD! I have a 3x 27inch 2k IPS monitor setup with all 3 identical monitors. I'm constantly looking for reasons to use Surround and you've gone and done it for my favorite game. Thank you!!!

I'm going to post a quick guide to help people who might want to enable Surround experience for multi-monitor!
