1.6 update should work fine report any bugs
Espiovvv 27 MAY a las 7:03
Is this safe to remove mid-save?
Sandman53 11 MAY a las 12:39
Would it be possible for you to integrate the pull request by NachoToast?
https://github.com/Owlchemist/simple-utilities-fridge/pull/2

This was done to fix issues regarding the Wall Fridge. They were never integrated into the main mod, but I've built a copy myself with his modifications and experienced no problems.

@Rustle You can do this locally by adding hay to the xml list for items available in the fridge, otherwise I’m trying to keep this mod true to the original including xml values.
Rustle 1 MAR a las 11:29
Could you add hay to list of items we can put in the fridge? Any time I have a colony that needs to stack food for animals I feel glad I have fridges until I remember they dont work with hay
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 18 FEB a las 0:14
@ReAnNe You can just rebuild the fridges
ReAnNe 17 FEB a las 23:48
@alt4s It doesn't apply to the previous game, and I guess it's possible if I start a new! Thank you!
ReAnNe 17 FEB a las 23:43
@alt4s I subscribed to it together, but I don't know how it disappears
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 17 FEB a las 3:13
@ReAnNe You can with adaptive storage and the patch in the description
ReAnNe 17 FEB a las 2:58
Can't you block what you see in the refrigerator?
Spanky_H 3 FEB a las 15:54
@alt4s Fair enough. Thanks for replying!
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 3 FEB a las 15:41
@Spanky_H You’d have to patch it yourself, there’s not really another good way around it. Having said that you’ll probably have more issues dealing with pawn reachability, since they wont be able to take items from the wall fridge you make unless you patch it like rimfridge does.
Spanky_H 3 FEB a las 15:25
Is there any possibility that you could adjust the assembly to account for wall fridges? I tried making an in-wall version of this but it starts throwing null-reference errors as soon as I build one.

My inexpert guess is that it maybe has something to do with it trying to get the room temperature for the power scaling or something, and not being able to because it's not in a 'room'

If not, no worries. :)

@kinonothin It's a legal thing too. Mod authors when they publish stuff are the owners of what they publish, when an author is willing to let people modify or patch their creations that's a privilege, and not a right that you have

The fact that many people put that in mods when they update and republish it clearly shows that yeah, a lot of people care. Just because you are self absorbed and lack awareness of what is around you, that doesn't mean what you think is what others around you do
TheTrueJohnMadden 18 ENE a las 14:26
What the fuck did I just read in this comment section
kinonothin 13 ENE a las 9:18
i only care about playing the games with mods i like updated to the version i play in, quit yapping about "real modding" and "self-respect", nobody cares.
The Guy in Your Closet 19 DIC 2024 a las 14:00
To add onto that point, if you need an example of a workshop that's over run with copies just look at Garry's mod
Mr. Bob 17 DIC 2024 a las 4:08
??
Goffik 16 DIC 2024 a las 6:45
@just_another_glinko, it's not about self-deprecation, it's about having respect for other people's work. If everybody went around taking other people's mods, tweaking them, and uploading them as their own, there would be *no* real modding community. No self-respecting modder would release anything because they wouldn't want to see their work being essentially stolen, meaning there wouldn't be anything for amateurs to tweak either.

Modders rarely mind their work being used as a base for a genuinely new project as long as you give credit, but small tweaks/updates do not an original mod make. Your failure to understand this concept shows that you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
CountCristo 15 DIC 2024 a las 14:17
Thanks for continuing this, appreciate the work
сэр Суер-Выер 12 DIC 2024 a las 2:47
"If requested by the author or when the author eventually updates their mods, I will remove this."
Don't. By updating it for the general public, you've become as much as an author as the person who originally posted it. Stop self-depricating. Men turning to thinking like that are the reason we dont create colonial empires anymore.
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 1 DIC 2024 a las 14:16
@RocketRacoon Proxyheat overrides the any fridges in its range, so fridges dont work within it.

@天黑不喝酒 It’s a dropdown menu, you need to click it in the architect menu and select the double fridge.
Jaho 30 NOV 2024 a las 8:56
I am sorry to say i meeting a strange issue,i can find the 1*1 fridge but i can't find the 1*2 in Architect Menu but i can find it in Research
Kap'n Limpworm 3 NOV 2024 a las 9:51
Thank you.
RocketRacoon 12 OCT 2024 a las 10:43
I am using this with VE temperature. I have a fridge near the cooking stove and I have 40 degrees there and it looks like the items stored in the fridge are not being frozen. Is this how it's supposed to happen? The fridges in other rooms are working ok. I'll try tommorow to reproduce this only with VE Temperature expanded
Kham 27 AGO 2024 a las 16:32
Yeah rebuilding them worked, looks much neater now. :D
Kham 27 AGO 2024 a las 6:16
@alt4s Yeah my load order definitely had ADS, This, then the patch. I'll check again later and try just building a new one to see if that kicks it into gear.
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 26 AGO 2024 a las 21:06
@Kham The patch should be applied at game startup, make sure it's loaded after S.U.: Fridge. Do try building new fridges in devtest to see if it solves it. Not sure how the Adaptive Storage Framework itself works, might just be a quirk of it.
Kham 26 AGO 2024 a las 18:02
When using the adaptive storage patch, do you need to rebuild existing fridges? I ask because after adding the patch all of my fridges still show the items stacked on top.
Fawx 26 AGO 2024 a las 12:35
@Gerewoatle: Hmm?
King DaMuncha 20 AGO 2024 a las 20:22
Why this not backwards compatible?
BRSaura 4 AGO 2024 a las 4:05
Well then I guess I'll need more testing, maybe it was related to something else but removing the fridges/mod was the only way for it to work, maybe some incompatibilities with adaptative storage (since there are already bugs with it with stacks and SOS2)
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 3 AGO 2024 a las 13:32
@BRSaura Unlikely that this mod or Reel's is the culprit. I'd hate for you to prove me wrong though!
BRSaura 3 AGO 2024 a las 11:28
I used this + reels storage and got some VERY weird things going on when moving the ship in SOS2, I left the logs and issue in SOS2 discussions since there was no way to know what was causing it lol
Gerewoatle 2 AGO 2024 a las 15:45
@Fawx: Dear lord.
Fawx 2 AGO 2024 a las 15:43
+1 for Adaptive Simple Storage patch to make the food inside not show.
『 』Petritant 28 JUL 2024 a las 14:33
Probably dumb asking but was there any reason to convert the previous code into public ? Is it because of the new functions in 1.5 or purely to ease the coding ?
Bunuffin 28 JUL 2024 a las 8:03
UwU thanks!
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 28 JUL 2024 a las 7:43
@Bunuffin Done!
Bunuffin 28 JUL 2024 a las 5:10
would it be possible to get Adaptive Storage Framework patch? so the food inside will not show.
Avila 11 JUL 2024 a las 16:27
Any chance for a wall version?:)
The Blind One 21 MAY 2024 a las 15:52
@Karew

This is likely done to preserve mod compatibility and add-ons that rely on the packageID

Best thing you can do is just unsub to the original so it doesn't throw an error.
Karew 7 MAY 2024 a las 17:35
Your package ID is the same as Owlchemist's, which causes a red error each time Rimworld boots up. Even if you are re-posting an updated mod, you need to change the package ID in About.xml so that it doesn't conflict
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 5 MAY 2024 a las 9:40
@Selfarion Make sure you update to the latest version of both Fishery and Performance Fish, they might've already fixed it.
Selfarion 5 MAY 2024 a las 6:27
@alt4s this is not help sadly, so looks like better wait when fish will swim better :steamsad:
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 5 MAY 2024 a las 6:15
@Selfarion I see you're loading Performance Fish, which has had a recent issue of crashing games when linking storage settings. Try disabling "TryFindBestBetterStoreCellForWorker" in its settings.
Selfarion 5 MAY 2024 a las 6:05
Looks like only this line was spammed before i press alt f4
[Analyzer] Failed to capture Harmony ctor, exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object, occured at

Without other mods all works good so its mod conflict may be its dubs performance analyzer, or rocket man or something else.
Hope it will help
у меня яйца чешут  [autor] 5 MAY 2024 a las 5:23
@Selfarion Hi, would be great if you could provide logs, otherwise I can't do much about it. Thanks!
