Howdy Sarg,

I would guess you have done far more research into the matter than I have. Would it be possible to attach pieces to walls such as how lights work? Support beams and wings and so on, offset and hanging off the side using a 1x1 pivot area.

Or does that only work with 1x1 sized pieces and it isn't possible to have a much large texture use a smaller placement footprint?

Appears to be having compatability problems. Not sure what's causing them, but Alpha Props - Ship Parts is causing the game to simply crash.

Doesn't work well on gravships—each prop piece needs a full foundation underneath. This means props like the pirate-themed parts either get left behind or require awkward, ugly foundation structures to stay attached to the ship.

I'm gonna miss raiding cities for ship parts just to collect full imperial ship.
Too bad SOS2 development in a tough spot. Still, great work, Sarg! Propr menu is one of the best features added by mods ever!:saw_bread1:

We will see @kitkathexe. I read what they said but I still think it’s unlikely and they had to scrap the planet travel system of SoS2 and go back to SoS1 version, huge drawback. The mod will still be top tier, that just really sucks.

I see they’re asking for people with advanced C++ knowledge to potentially help, hopefully someone will

@Exodus永 they are actually quite enthusiastic about putting out the new stable release later this year for 1.5, skipping 1.4 entirely

one of the best mods there is but it got broken by the 1.4 update. Due to how complex it is they couldn't even get a stable version of the 1.4 out in the 18 months they had before 1.5. In all honesty I think they will abandon the project soon. In my 5000 hours that was one of my favourite mods. Added a huge end game

Love that this is back. I noticed a bunch of red errors on start up. Apparently "AP_ShipPartBase" has <blocksPlants>true</blocksPlants> as the cause. I noted it out in the xml and it worked to get rid of the red errors for me.

I was running harmony, hugs, vanilla expanded framework, vanilla furniture props, both alpha props, and SOS2 experimental from the github.
