@Skorchedblade I'm pretty sure vehicles framework has its own thing going on for that. Shouldn't have anything to do with needing run and gun.

No one is reading the description.

Turned on search and destroy and dual wield to see if they work (they didn't and broke drafting), and found out I couldn't turn them off in mod settings due to a flood of errors while in the mod settings page.

Will personally have to go without this mod for now.

TO MAKE THE MOD WORK

simply toggle on
Draft a colonist- then next to where it says drafted hunt you will see run and gun CLICK IT!
it does not happen automatically! seem to have to toggle it on everytime so its super annoying

i have the same issue as Devastator. Right-Clicking doesn't bring up a float-menu.

Anyone else not having the run and gun option appear on their pawn bar? Or has that been changed from the original

Right-clicking weapon doesn't bring up a float menu, I don't know which mod conflicted with this, but it solved after remove RunAndGun from my save.

@Huntsman i would have removed them if the original author didnt couple everything together so much. Its clear his intention was that these 3 mods belong together as one, and therefore its as simple as u might think.

I would have removed them if he hadnt coupled it all together - But i honestly dont feel like figuring out the entire undocumented codebase to just to remove them

Search and Destroy is working for me. Do NOT remove it from this mod. If it's not working for you, then your other mods are conflicting with it. DONT touch this.

If the duel wield and Search and Destroy modules aren't working as intended, wouldn't it be a better idea to simply remove them? As to not caused unwanted issues to everyone else who "Accidentally" had or turned on those modules? Considering that there are 1.5 update vers of those mods now.

@The Mother Hawke This is meant to be a standalone Run And Gun mod. Hence the title being Run And Gun, the picture being Run And Gun and a description stating that Search And Destory, and Dual Wield is broken and therefore should not be used.

I have never played with Search and Destroy or Dual Wield and just wanted Run And Gun to work for my play through. I updated this for myself, and just decided to share it for all. I am not intending to update the two others, i will leave that to the original developers.

Mod straight up doesn't work if you wanna use the SaD module and equip weapons. Would be better off being a standalone Run and Gun mod.

Krustak, that is because you most likely activated Dual wield and/or Search and Destroy. Both me and Rose Brigade told how to fix it.
You either modify C:\Users\<User>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config\Mod_3221373644_Mod_Tacticowl.xml or you delete it. Your choice.
Deleting will reset it Run and Gun to default, so any change you made is reverted to original setting, or you go in and change search and destroy and dual wield to false, whichever is in the settings file

Both Melee and ranged Pawns seem to stand right next to enemies without attacking. The mod is updated.

search and destroy works perfectly for me, the only problem I see is that colonists with ranged weapons go melee against enemies, but I don't see this mod being useful for ranged pawns but for meele pawns, and in that it works perfectly.

For some reason the mod causing an problem to pick up ranged weapons. Everytime when I try to right click "pick up" a ranged weapon, the dropdown menue doesnt come. Maybe its incompatible with other mods. But my mod-list got 180 mods. So I couldnt figure out, wich mod is causing the problem. Just keep an eye on it!

I noticed this mod does not seem to like the sidearms mod. Constant switching back and forth between the starting revolver and rifle when running and gunning.
