OK, an issue with this mod has arisen. if you use this mod, you'll have to remove it before, transferring command to another ship. I suffered severe fps drop tat made the game, almost unplayble.

I'm mainly looking at the cargo boost though, I hate destroying three ships and not having enough cargo space for all the loot, more-so if, I'm doing back to back missions before landing anywhere.

I hope this mod works. I'm @ lvl 18 and have been flying nothing else. Destroyed over 100 ships and not all my level, some higher. :D: Wish I had an armor mod.

Got it installed, I was able to board a ship... but now the grapple beam is basically non functional. Is this normal, or does this mean the beam is too low for the "weight" of the ship I captured?

Sorry for the late reply: it does work for all scenario as changes the Taurus stats in the engine as Lou the Lou rightly guessed. Hope this helps!

Singleplayer? I assume you mean the campaign, since the whole game is singleplayer...

I would assume that this would simply change the stats for any Taurus in the game, meaning it would work for either the campaign or freeroam.

It does lack some end game punch though. Cruisers and higher take forever. I was flying with the Legionnaire frigate as of late and think that this is perhaps the best tradeoff between speed, fire power (firing on all sides) and decent money making (with 48 troopers). With railguns nothing can touch me...this game is broken. And it even has enough power to sustain fire for long enough to kill stuff relatively quickly.

While this sounds nice in theory and I always wished for it I have to admit that this might make this ship even more overpowered than it currently is :D
Especiall the cargo and trooper modifications. You could effectively capture corvettes with this now without ever being hit...lol

So I recommend only installing this mod for fun, as it breaks progression.

All turrets now have reasonable firing arcs, now you are able to fire full broadside salvos from all three turrets.

I love this ship.
