An absolute godsend of a mod. For so long I've been dealing with coats/jackets/robes/armor/etc awkwardly being over hair, and it's always hurt my immersion.
I spent maybe a good few hours making a couple personal patches for coats in my current run, specifically for a few race mods (main ones being Miho and Ratkin), was honestly surprised how easy it was to do.

Thats a simple example for a patch of the VAE Tribal Poncho. Just literally copied most of it out of this mod and Replaced the defname.

Can you explain it in more detail how to edit the code. I see the <li>Shell<li> line but then where does the "outer" label go? Below it in the same <layers> paragraph?

I want to know who decided to make this change. I just put on a jacket for the first time and instantly though "oh no, a mod has broken something"...
Thank you, though my god it's going to take me days to sort all of the mod clothing I use with these patches haha.

Thank you for making this. I hate that the hair layer is under the outer layer now. I thought one of my mods was breaking it so I spent hours trying to fix the issue. Then I found out that it was just 1.5 doing it.

@guramo I think that's what other mod authors need to do by them self. There are so many mods that I can't go through and patch them all.

Great mod! I can now play my game without the hair thing buzzing me. I guess this mod targets only the vanilla coats. If you can make a patch for like vanilla expanded clothes it would be wonderful. If not, guess I'll live with adding other layer to coats with character editor which some how fixes the problem. Anyways thanks for the mod.

@HugheMunges this mod only for 1.5, because the code that make the coat render over the hair is added by 1.5.

Is it possible to fix the cape layer bug in the mod House Sanguine even though its still 1.4?
i dont really understand how to change code or is it posible to do it in the mod config somehow Thanks in advance

Is there a way to patch all apparel instead of having to type the same code for each individual item? I have dozens of mods that add new apparel and having to find the def name, copy and paste them all is tedious as hell.

This mod is a godsend, the new layer rendering issue's been bugging me for days. Unfortunately this mod only affect vanilla items rather than all outer apparel.

@SounLee Fixed. Also fix all of the other backpack.
Actually I changed the method to changing each vanilla coat individually.(Except for burka).

some slight bug (maybe in combo with rpg inventory)
the turretpack from anomaly shows through the body in front view in the rpg inventory tab.
