I try to update it when a new update comes (it's just a button press really ..) but some mods like Faction UI make it not working :)

Hey! So odd - the next day, same (pretty large) modlist with this mod activated....
Now I see the mod's changes in effect. Unit card borders are gone....
Looks like it does indeed work - please accept my apologies.

This mod is WORKING with 6.0.x <3 Was a problem on my end!

Hey! I think your lovely mod stopped working (unless I'm doing smth completely wrong).

Would you consider updating it for 6.x?

Don't know if it helps, but the chaos factions don't seem to be affected by the overwrite of SFO. Except for Tzeentch and Slaanesh. Maybe this could be used to make the mod compatible with SFO (I'm sadly no modder)?

I really love your mod and would like to request a submod for sfo as it overwrites your changes for most races.

One more question: If you're into unit cards - ever thought about making a set of your own?

There's this fantastic recolour for SCM's Marienburg that looks absolutely epic and majestic.... If I only knew anyone who could make a set of top shelf stylish unit cards for it. The unit cards should represent the actual uniforms' colours.... it's primarily white and has some purple accents in it. Looks baller. Lemme know if you wanna give it a shot or wanna see it in action on the troops

@Orendiz You prob know people here on the Workshop. If you have any ideas who could be interested, lemme know! <3

Just wanted to come back and say: your mod is fully fine. Works well. Tested it solo.

I do love @Orendiz' suggestion. <3 Totally agree on his readability argument.

20 mods only - that's cute <3 (I'm just kidding - again, badly - to each his own!)

I also believe it works fine with "Parchment" - have I already mentioned I love this mod? :)

I think you should keep the unit role/weapon thingy background circle. Like with the ror units. Helps with readability at a glance

Ah, the famous German humour.... (....) RE: glow frame - so basically you're saying it could be that when I see clear "glow frames" then it's your mod doing that as it should (possibly on vanilla cards) and that the others *might* indeed be non-vanilla cards (e.g. from regional units like "Solland Swordmen" added by Sigmar's Heirs, an Elector Count unit in the starting army whose unit cards get overwritten by ") *could* maybe either not get affacted by his nor your mod (hence have no glow and look "unselected")? Well, either way I gotta do a session with just your mod. if this doesn't solve the issue, I'll be back with more comments and excitement! :)

How long's the longest mod list you run, just out of curiosity? (Mine: 300, if CA lets me that is)

I'm not a modder neither but I heard that for UI compatibility, Warband Upgrades have recently added a UI submod which guarantees certain standards and apparently very helpful to understand as a modder interested in UI. (It was a bit above my head so I doze off when it got to the details HAHA). Mod is called "Warband UI Framework", I believe.

I really recommend reading through "Parchment"'s comments below the mod and trying that mod TODAY! The author seems extremely nice and knowledgeable; he'll have answers to anything you wanna know, I guess. Try that mod if you like oldschool (play a vanilla faction!) - it's dope. There's a version that changes all sounds to oldschool as well.

Of course müsliriegel will also be a great resource. He's probably German judging by his user name - and as we all know, Germans are always among the most nerdy, knowledgeable but also generally pleasant people around.... (Did I mention I live in Berlin?)

Hey there, thanks a lot for your comments and excitement :) !
I didn't test much mods yet so i can't guarantee anything past my current mod list; maybe the accumulation of UI mods can become messy ?

I am only learning about making submods to guarantee compatibility with other mods; if there is one particular issue with a popular mod i would try to fix it ! I will try to reach out to makers of the Unique Faction UI mod, to see if it's possible for me to adapt something :)

For your last comment, my mod changed the glow frame when a card is selected, so this might be colisionning with Oldhammer Unit card frame mod.

I'll take out the other mods for another test, but you positive that ALL unit cards, whether vanilla or coming from other mods, are visually highlighted the same way in your mod? If you want to look into it, you could play as Wissenland using Mixu/Sigmar's Heirs and the additional card mods. Apologies if the mistake is due to my setup <3

Hey! So it seems working with "Parchment (Legacy UI)" is not a problem, unless my 1 relatively severre problem is caused by this (unlikely) ... For full transparency: I tried out a combo of Alternative Unit Cards, Faction Unit Cards III, your mod, Better Vanilla Rank Icons and "Oldhammer - Unit Card Frames" by Urgat (from bottom to top in load order, so Unit Card Frames at the top).

When I select multiple units (playing as modded Solland using graetor's mod with Sigmar's Heirs & Mixu's LLs), around half of the units clearly look highlighted but the others pretty clearly don't. My 1st guess is that the 1st group are "pure vanilla" cards, and the other ones supplied or changed by mods....

Hey! Wow, a pretty impressive debut, my friend <3 Unit cards are super important in this game.

Will let you know once I've tried it for some time.... Compatibility sounds good, I just wonder if it could work with my fav UI mod (for vanilla, not modded factions) "Parchment". Any idea if that will be incompatible like Unique UI by Müsliriegel?

From what I gather, your mod also has functionailty similar to @Urgat's "Unit Card Frames" mod on board (showing better which cards are currently highlighted), correct?

Will give it a try. Great idea for sure and pretty pro looking result, incl. how you present your work here and compatibility info - which is always appreciated! <3
