@Chief R²: Yeah missed to mark those. I usually put the improved ones next to the warp drive, on some of the positions that are marked for shield extenders. The basic ones go next to the core.

I am using this as my starter now and am working some of the upgrades as posted. You P-Menu guidance does not offer any advice on CPU Ext placement to get to the Core 4 you cited. I got them in in the cockpit area removing the blocks up against the shower and water closet. Where did YOU envision those parts when you figured Core 4?

A shell is just a empty husk of a ship. It allows myself and other to take it and build their own variations of the original build. Credit is always given to the OP and it allows people to be imaginative with the ships they love but not designed the want they want. Feel free to look at my workshop if you are wondering.

After a quick research I found out you also need pentaxid for shields, I thought it was only for warping!

Are you on the ground or docked? I believe the shield will not charge when in those situations.

Thanks for this! Request: Could you include the advice panel about how to configure and use it to fight Sunats? I used the previous version in RE 1 and found this very helpful.

Used this as my starter CV again. It was a bit rough getting the resources but well worth it. I was able to take down a zirax malrak carrier with this ship after doing its base upgrades. Lots of hit and run but it worked. With the recommended plasma gens installed it can sit on without power drain. The only recommendation I have is to armor up the front of the ship a 'little'as the shield piercing will remove the blocks in your cockpit, They heavy glass held up fine. Not a terrible problem except you will lose atmosphere during a fight if they go.

Probably the usual bug when you switch scenarios without restarting the game. Restart the game, add it again newly to the factor and it should work.

I went to build this added to my factory, and its asking for a "Large Commercial Constructor" to finish the blueprint, but when I look at the original cost for the BP it doesn't mention this. I can't find the item for this to insert and when I try to use any of the tiered constructors for capital vessels - it won't take it. Any ideas or is this bugged for me?

That said, thinking of it, it might actually be a good idea to armor the roof above generator and warp. Have to look and see what that does to the costs. And whether it would even be enough to survive a bomb hit.

What you describe could just as well have happened on RE1, Splash damage for bombs hasn't really changed in RE2.
You can park the ship with next to no fuel usage and a shield generator running if you switch off thrusters, guns and the grav gen. Do that if you are afraid of getting bombed. Or even better, get on board and fight the bomber.
Armoring against bombers would probably(?) require at least hardened steel or possibly even combat steel, you won't find that on most starters.

just one hit to the top and it went up in a massive explosion. It was parked on the repair bay (shild off) when a base attack happend and boom it goes. its not really designed for re2.. becouse of splash damage. i liked it since then, aspecially the look of it, although the ladder to the production and the medics is a pain in the bud!
