@Anti4iter Yes, the feature was added to vanilla, but not completely. You can only choose capitals and not just any barony.

I took a look at the mod and compared it to the current game files and I can see why it's broken. The main file is very much out of date and I haven't tried it, but if @JeeZee's fix works, then great, but the rest of the file, with other important decisions might not be working as intended now, because it's fallen behind on a lot of patches.

Since Paradox introduced the decision in the game, removing the capital requirements is very easy in the code, just 2 lines that you need to comment out and you can build your legendary building anywhere. I've made a new mod that does this exactly and will be keeping it up to date.

Cuz I'm available to choose any barony in my domain for legendary buildings without this mod

I got this to work for 14.2.2 but its a bit convoluted.

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3225008269\common\decisions

(or wherever your workshop folder is located. Alternative method is to open the mod folder via the ck3 launcher)

Open both 06_ce1_decisions and clbl_decisions in notepad.

change every line that is in the format:
picture = "gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_legend.dds"

to

picture = { = "gfx/interface/illustrations/decisions/decision_legend.dds"}

dont change the 'gfx/interface/illustrations etc' ONLY add the { = and } to the start and end of the line

save then relaunch the game and it should work.

This will need a new update, current vanilla does this slightly but with only county capitals, this mod is till needed for all baronies.

Its not working for me i click the decisions and nothing happens, and i do not see a construction for legendary building in building slot.

Any way you could make this work on a holding that already has a special building slot? For example in my save I have Lunden as my capital and there is already a special building slot for the tower of London and when I use the mod it gets the effect but no extra building slot. But it does work on other holdings that don't already have a special building slot.

I don't get the "clear grounds decision" option. The first option shows up and I can choose location but not clear ground..

It still works but you have to select a holding that does not already have a special building slot, occupied or not.
It also works on duchy capital if they check the requirement said earlier.

@kacpi_tv Did some testing and it works that way in vanilla too. You need to do the clear grounds decision before completing a new legend. Not a problem with this mod.

Unfortunately, this is not working. Loaded it last to see if it was a load order issue, but nope. The county gets the modifier, but taking the decision to clear the ground doesn't do anything, though it fires a banner message saying the county got the building slot.

It seems to have stopped working.

I select a location, then choose the build decision (and it selects the location correctly) The problem, however, is that I was only able to build one building this way. I completed three legends, so I lost a total of two buildings. After selecting the decision to clear the land for construction, no building is unlocked - except for the first one (and before that the mod worked fine)

If possible, I think a check should be added to see if there's already an existing special building slot. AFAIK, a holding can only have one such slot.

@Javes you do get to choose, it's just in vanilla it's tied to your capital. Move your capital, complete the legend and it's there.

Only thing i would like in many mods of this kind is more criteria to meet before being able to construct a mega palace anywhere you want. Control, Support, Prestige, Logistics... All that is missing from the game, still, yet mods dont quite fill in all the gaps.

You get to construct legendary buildings as a reward for completing Legends, the mechanic from the new DLC. You can't move existing ones, and the one you get depends on the type of legend completed.

Amazing. Ive always wanted to be able to choose where to put legendary buildings, but id like to ask some clarification on this. What kind of legendary buildings can be built? Can you move existing ones? Who gets what buildings?
