Frostbite damage applies only when hypothermia hits and goes through armor if I remember correctly, fingers, toes and noses just have increased damage from frostbite. Can't find any info on wiki so could be wrong idk.

Well, for example, the way "Full Armor - Hands and Feet" autopatching works is it checks for the word "armor" in name of apparel, then it checks for "Arms" or "Legs" coverage tags and adds apropriate "Hands" or "Feet" tags. I can only do simple patches.

Could you also add in auto patching? This could be a great alternative to "Full Armor - Hands and Feet" or even a replacement.

Thanks for this. Was really getting annoyed with my colonists in vac suits losing their toes from freezing cold.

Fair enough. In my mind they still wear fancy black gloves with the formal shirts anyway :) Much appreciate the mod, only grabbed it just recently. I lost so many toes and fingers since odyssey came out... it felt wrong with marine armor! Excellent mod, thank you. Too bad it doesn't work for modded armor, janissary armor became quite a bit worse (VFE - Empire), but all good! Cheers mate

With 0.2 stat multiplier even hyperweave formal shirt would have 40% sharp armor, it would add a chance to save a hand, but I mostly just want actual armor to do its job.

Aesthetically speaking I suggest that almost everyone envisioned a vanilla power armor covering hands and feet. We can't graphically see gloves nor boots so it's all in le head, and I just want stats to make sense.

Have you considered making formal shirts cover hands and fingers? I suppose you conciously chose not to, for balance reasons (?), but I'd make an argument that it would be a fitting clothing piece to offer it. Formal shirt with a slick pair of thin gloves for that rich imperial aesthetic. They also cost roughly 50% more material than button down shirts so I could see fall within balance margins to add it.
Just a personal little wish of mine, but ultimately your choice :)

Throws errors due to it not checking whether Ideology and Royalty (and probably Biotech) is installed or not.

@JohnyD No, they don't cover either hands or feet. It's a balance decision to not cover hands tho, since they are already covering a lot of body parts. Also gives you a reason to make jackets. Jackets cover hands, because someone wearing a jacket is probably wearing gloves as well, same with parkas and mittens. Burka is a religious apparel which whole purpose is to cover the entirety of the body so it makes sense for it to cover hands and feet simultaneously, as well as being balanced by speed debuff.
