Personally I wouldn't mind there being space dungeons involving them, but I'm lacking the motivation and time to spend on that stuff.
Populated ones are mostly harmless, but the treasure rooms can still contain traps.
The wire tool is recommended for spotting them.
What do you think it should look like? I could make the sprite something other than a flag.
But I'm not too sure about it, now.
Their diet is basically the same as humans, except they can also eat alien fruit, as it's a component of their famous gumballs!
Balloonoids are basically humans, if they were transformed into synthetic, rubber balloon creatures.
That's about all the relevant info I can think of, do with it what you will.

After I'm done with adding microdungeons, this may be the final significant update, as I feel pretty satisfied with what I've done, and don't wish to over-inflate it - ha, ha, ha.
If someone more motivated than me wants to make add-on content for this mod, they got my permission, so long as it doesn't contradict the codex lore, or break steam rules.
It seems like the kind of place you would probably find them, that or the ocean, but so many species have called dibs on that one...
Plus I just think it would be funny to see a Balloonoid get murked by those cactus enemies.
Balloonoid npcs however, might not like their privacy being invaded, they might even have their storage armed with booby traps!
I'll think about the structures. I like the idea of Balloonoids living in rare sky islands, with relevant treasures, of course.
Personally, though, I don't mind making colonies, because it gives me an excuse to build something fancy.
On an unrelated note, The Armol mod's tenants give relatively good items.
We have like, the balloon borg here. It's awesome and I wanna see more of them when I'm exploring
But decided against it, because I didn't want the mod to be too intrusive.
Just optional content that the player has control over, ya' know?
There is a codex entry named "Balloonoid Anatomy" that goes into little more detail about what they're made of.
I think it was called flavor-aid or something like that.
What event was this juice mod referencing anyway?
I tried looking it up, but couldn't find anything specific.
Also, in response to previous comments - yes, the workshop is moderated (just poorly). A poison fruit juice mod was taken down for referencing real events.

When someone gets turned into a Balloonoid, they develop an urge to convert more hosts.
Some Balloonoids can resist, but the thought never goes away.
As far as most Balloonoids are concerned, the galaxy would be a better place if it were made of balloons.
the Balloonoids just turn some random humans that they captured into a clone of the one that died.
Balloonoids do indeed have a dark side, if you look deep enough into their lore and objects.
So I just checked out the respawn animation cause u mentioned it. Hilarious& Confusing at the same time. I didnt check out the one for the Armol yet o_o going to have to now xD
