Suggestion for consideration.
Perhaps instead of litter or at least more often than litter units could leave a trail of faint footprints for player to interact with and get more detailed track to pop up. Idealy with an option for custom color and density of imprints to be less immersion breaking or simply force players to slow down.
It would be great if you could add a difficulty classes, e.g. civilians, conventional forces, special forces. Which will be harder to track depending on what class they are defined as.
For example, a civilian makes more mistakes when it comes to hiding their trail, unlike special forces which are trained to eliminate the slightest trace (Civilians leave trash and foot prints which can be traced at a high percentage, while special forces do not, they would only leave foot prints at a lower percentage of probability).
