Worked it out - there's no "replace" operation if you've already got a skin gland implant. If you remove that gland, it works just fine. Might be an idea to add a replace operation just for consistency though

Works fine in 1.6, except I seem to be unable to install the skin implant. The surgery doesn't show up. Might be some kind of mod incompatibility, posting to see if anyone else gets this problem

Thanks for the lovely mod! Works fine in 1.6, slapped the 1.6 tags on it myself and have not had any issues so far.

Another update that adds advanced eyes that reduce aiming time , ranged cooldown and accuracy , stacking advanced arms and eyes would give you a total of -50% (70% with heavy bandolier on top) ranged cooldown reduction , making you fire twice as fast (or more with bandolier), as always , these items are optional and the original archotech eyes still exist and are both cheaper and easier to get

@Nighty much appreciated, now I can just use your mod and stop using A Few More Bionics

@navi and @PunisherT1000 , I found the problem and fixed it , it should not disappear anymore
apologies for the inconvenience

@Nighty I have absolutely the same thing; within a few seconds of the Archo-dermal implant being implanted, it disappears.:YellowMan: Please check, maybe it's a matter of compatibility with other bionics mods.

@navi I honestly don't know what would cause it to just disappear, I pretty much just copy pasted a skin gland from royalty dlc code wise and edited it to give the bonuses its supposed to, and its working for me and my friends exactly as intended, im also pretty new to making mods, this is my first one ever so i dunno how mod load order would affect this kind of thing or which mods out there would cause problems, sorry

@Nighty I tried it on another colonist and the same thing happened. The Implant shows up on the Health tab for a second, then disappears. There was nothing installed on the Torso before i tried implanting it on a colonist. I dont have any other similar mods installed. Maybe it has to do something with the load order ? I would reallyl ike that implant on my melee pawns...

@navi well... its not supposed to do that , are you sure the surgery was sucessfull ? Neither myself nor any other people I asked to test this mod had issues with the skin implant , only thing that comes to mind would be installing another skin gland type of implant , i made them mutually exclusive like the other 3 skin implants already existing in the royalty dlc, i am not entirely sure what happens if you "downgrade" from archotech skin implant to stoneskin gland for example though

I installed an Archotech skin implant on my colonist who already had 2 archotech eyes, legs and warrior arms. It disappeared after the operation and no skin implant could be seen in the health tab.

Nice upgrade.
Nighty  [author] 27 Apr, 2024 @ 10:56am
Added an Archotech Nose in my last update and improved the advanced limbs a bit because they were somewhat lackluster for ranged combat and the worker arms were barely an improvement to normal Archotech Arms. Also reduced some of the melee dodge chance from the cerebral enhancer and added improved aim time.

@meep34524 Theoretically it should because the Archotech items in this mod all use the vanilla archotech body part base and build upon it. As long as the vanilla base gets modified by elite bionics framework, then this should too. I have not tested it though.
meep34524 26 Apr, 2024 @ 5:18pm
just wanted to check if this works with elite bionics framework or if it had been tested?
