it is conflict with "Revised Mag II": it makes the mags useless

What a fatnastic mod, thank you!
Is there an expected fix for ammunition sale price? It is currently way too high with selling granting twice or thrice as much as it would have cost to buy at Bobby Ray's.

@Senor Wonsz Good idea. I was thiniking the same thing and im working on it! At least in my mind for now... when i got some motivation and time i will look into that deeper. Thanks for your comment!
Señor Wonsz 12 Jul, 2024 @ 7:03am
Hi, is it possible to sell all sector items at one time like it was in JA2 1.13? I believe it was ctrl + shift + S combination. I am playing with extended amount of enemies so having to sell every single item out of 40+ enemies is not super user friendly. Or at least it would be nice to sell item by clicking on it once (by pressing one of keyboard keys together with mouse clicking) instead of RMB on item and clicking on dropdown menu.

My mod calculates ammo in 10x stacks for easier calcalculation. When you sell a 1/500 Stack it should in theory work as normal though i didnt test that in particular. But to be honest if you want to break the game / mod like that youll find a way. Its not my job to keep players from glitching or abusing mechanics i make stuff possible in this game you have to choose how you like to use it. -

Did the sell price for ammo ever get addressed? I ran into the issue on another mod and it was because the unit price at Bobby Rays is 30 rounds and it sold the ammo back in units of one round. I wonder if that's what's going on here.

NEW PATCH: Mortar, rpg and 40mm grenades are sellable. Reduced the ammo sell factor to 0.3x from 0.4x.
Estruktix  [author] 15 Jun, 2024 @ 3:36pm
This mod doesnt change anything related to damage or something close to that. Has to be another mod that interferes with your damage numbers.
WELL ADJUSTED HUMAN BEING 9 Jun, 2024 @ 2:51pm
I'm not sure why, but when I play with this mod all of my damage dealt is upwards of 6000+. When I disable it, it goes back to normal. Any help?
Shuri-Sama 30 May, 2024 @ 10:51am
i dont really care about prize, even if u low it to 0. but to take care of all these useless junk is the best side of this mod (without doing operations for half a year ^^)
Estruktix  [author] 30 May, 2024 @ 8:34am
@Red Wizard I will look into that once i got some time. Thanks for your feedback!
Red Wizard 29 May, 2024 @ 2:49pm
Awesome mod overall! However, I don't think the sale price of Ammo is balanced. Even with 0.4 modifier, I can sell ammo for more than what they cost at Bobby Ray's. Also, you can't sell individual units of ammo - you need a minimum of 2 for the context menu option to pop up.
Estruktix  [author] 27 May, 2024 @ 10:45am
Sure i will look into it when i got some time :)
Shuri-Sama 27 May, 2024 @ 10:27am
can u add motar shells 40mm grenades and rockets to this?
Estruktix  [author] 9 May, 2024 @ 1:10pm
@Hachiryoku Awesome you took the time to write a comment and give me some feedback! I updated the mod a few days ago and ammo etc is sellable again! If it doesnt work for you i could try to help you figure out why.
Hachiryoku 8 May, 2024 @ 7:32pm
I like it. Thank you. It's really nice to have the option to sell or scrap.

It sounds like you'd rather not do ammo. I would like to submit my totally useless opinion for the opposite.

It's because by late game I'm not using much regular ammo and it really starts to clutter stuff up in certain ways. Like, I end up with oodles of standard 9mm. Sometimes I take it all to a random spot in the middle of nowhere and just drop a ton of it to unclutter it all from what I will actually use.

No worries if you'd still rather not. I have a feeling my minor request is not worth the hours it would take to make it so. I can also just keep dumping it. That's rather easy to do (it's just a bit gamey feeling).
Estruktix  [author] 5 May, 2024 @ 12:16pm
@Pug Good to hear that 0.4x works good for you. With ToG there is not a lot i can do about it. I made my mod compatible with other mods so that it gets the value of an item from vanilla as well as modded weapons. But there lies the issue. If they put very high prices on their items it will also grab those ones and calculate the same way.
Pug 5 May, 2024 @ 11:22am
@Estruktix after quite a few hours of gameplay I think the factor of .4x is very well selected. It feels right. Sometimes it is better to scrap, especially weapons known to deliver steel pipes.
It depends on what you need more at the moment money or parts. Things look a little different with mods like ToG, as there are a lot of very expensive weapons and dismantling them is often simply not worth it unless you absolutely need the parts.

Патроны!! Покупаю у Бобби и продаю этому моду )) Хорошая прибыль, на Тень хватает ))
Chilled Sloth 2 May, 2024 @ 3:01pm
Thank you for your work! This feels much fairer now than the 100% selling prices, while not making scrapping the superior option all the time. The middlemen take their cuts!
Estruktix  [author] 1 May, 2024 @ 6:09pm
@Pug next patch is out. Worked on it for like 12H to figure evrything out. I managed to get everything to work! Have fun playing it later and report back to me with feedback! 0.4x factor is used now since items are in general lower in numbers as they come compared to JA2 1.13.
Pug 30 Apr, 2024 @ 5:44am
An interesting and difficult question. I think 1/3 (30-35%) would be a good value.
An AK 47 costs $1,500. At 100% quality you get 10 (don't know if this is skill dependent) parts worth $500. This corresponds to around a third of the purchase price. If this is scaled with the quality of the weapon, you get between 0 and 500 dollars. At your 10% it would hardly be worth selling.
The question is also whether you want to set a minimum price for a certain quality level. I'm looking forward to the update and will test it in the game I've just started.
Estruktix  [author] 29 Apr, 2024 @ 1:30pm
Questions to those who played with the mod already. What multiplier should the sell option have compared to the base value of an item(100% rn). JA2 1.13 did 10% of the original value of an item. BTW big patch comin next days. I figured out how to adjust the functions for damaged items and ammo. So ammo will be back to be sold just like the other items :)
ro_stroh 27 Apr, 2024 @ 5:37am
Finally a way to get more money without cheating. ;)
Estruktix  [author] 26 Apr, 2024 @ 3:23am
@Pug i will try to find a way to make them scale. For now they use the exact same formula as the cash in one for diamonds etc.
Pug 25 Apr, 2024 @ 10:00am
Very nice idea! One problem though is, that the selling prices do not scale with the quality of the items.
An armor with 10 % or 100% sells for the exact same price, so do all other items. Scrapping scales with the quality your selling prices unfortunalely do not.
Baka Racker 24 Apr, 2024 @ 1:05pm
@Extruktix Honestly, even just being able to scrap it for nothing would be nice. Seeing little caches of useless ammo all over the map just bugs me, like some kinda nervous tic or something.
Estruktix  [author] 24 Apr, 2024 @ 10:08am
@Baka Racker I could make ammo sellable but that involves a way bigger amount of work than the mod took already to make it balanced. The devs made the ammo to expensive in base single item value. If i would change those it could possibly mess with other mods atm.
Estruktix  [author] 24 Apr, 2024 @ 10:05am
@finnbat I loved playing JA2 1.13. The drawback for getting the ability to sell everything that easy is to get a smaller amount of money than what theyre worth. Thats how it was in 1.13 and thats how i do it :)
𝕱𝖎𝖓𝖓𝖇𝖆𝖙 22 Apr, 2024 @ 8:47pm
Make palyers to work with this... put them to haul stuff to somewhere where can sell them. Now when can just like that sell stuff is... toooooo easy ?
Baka Racker 22 Apr, 2024 @ 3:03pm
Rad, finally a way to dispose of unneeded items. Now if only there was a way to discard all of this 9mm I've accumulated...
Hachiryoku 22 Apr, 2024 @ 1:41pm
Cool. I like it. Thank you.
Ciaran_S 22 Apr, 2024 @ 12:11pm
I like the idea. Now you have to decide what you need more, the parts from scrapping or the cash.
