More to the point, none of them have team skins at all. This *has* team skins, which is honestly wasteful that despite *having* team skins it's still ambiguous -- almost more than if it didn't have team skins at all. Now that I'm digging deeper, looks like you're using Polter-Guised (/Bomb Carrier/Sunriser/Deadly Dragon) base, so if the labels on the shotgun images are correct, MOST of the Air Strike and Black Box are the opposing team color?
This would be perfect with a base where one texture is universally more present than the other.
- Aqua Marine
- Pyroland related skins such as Blue Mew which covers most of the weapon.
- Blitzkrieg and Butcher Bird.
- Croc Dusted
- Macaw Masked on some of the generations is very blue.
- Freedom Wrapped is both patriotically red and patriotically blue.
- Jazzy covers a lot of the weapon in blue streaks.
- Igloo by a lot.
- Some of the war paints in the winter 2020 collection.
- Broken Bones
- Pacific Peacemaker though that's more muted.
There are probably some that look red but on the blue team as well.
I'm not saying every single war paint needs to completely ignore team recognition but in my opinion, this submission seems fine when it's compared to a lot of those chosen war paints.
However, using this particular base I don't think it works. I think it could work on a base where one team color significantly dominates the other on all weapons, allowing the matching team color to be clearly visible over the opposing, but as-is on this template I think there's too much blue on the red team.
Even the specific skins you *chose here* for promos have this problem. For many of these, if you asked me which of the skins shown is for which team, I couldn't confidently answer, especially because for the one where you DID label the teams, I'd have guessed WRONG based on what's there.
If that problem were fixed (again, choosing another template could well fix it) I'd love it.
Perhaps a team-color variant would be in order.
Otherwise, this is an amazing paint, and would love to see it in game.
