Some textures only work on DX11 and will have that issue on DX9, please try switching to that and see if it fixes things!

I love this mod but the Pa texture seems to be broken, it shows up as red and white squares.

Kia ora na! I played this mod for years under Hotu Matu'a. The idea of searching the egg to become Tangata Manu is just perfect! Thanks Pouakai for this masterpiece and tons of happy hours

Is there any way to get just one of these civs without changing the base polynesia under Kamehameha from the original, is this possible?

Just a heads up. This Lua "JFD_YnAEMPEmbarkation" is causing all units not just the Polynesian civs in a YnAEMP game to have embarkation into oceans at the beginning of the game. Removing that file disabled it.

The first time I tried Tonga it was horribly bugged- icons for unit tasks were switched with those of the later conquering units. My warrior had a promotion available at the start but selecting it just sent it into automation. I tried the Tonga again and the bug was gone, though.

Subbed, but the mod doesn't even download. Is there a way to get this mod outside of steam? Checked the Reddit page, but their link broke.

I'm having some trouble getting this mod to work completely. I have all the DLC so that shouldn't be a problem. When I choose Maori the units appear to be those of Celts, or something similar.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

After subscription and download, the mod was missing, but after manually searching for it and deleting some oter mods, it reapeared... I must of had too many mods, :steamhappy:

I myself am Maori, and I truely love this...
been playing for years and only just noticed...

The Construct Manavai decision for the Rapa Nui seems to be broken. I researched chemistry and had a stone works and it never became an available decision.... Tried it in two successive games with the same result.

it only has hawaii getting the traits and thats probably because it is the vanilla part of the split.

Are you playing in DX9 mode? For some reason custom UIs get the checkerboard texture when using DX9 but are fine with DX11

For some reason when I build the pa as maori the palisade is there, but the ground under it becomes checkered red and white. Is this how it is supposed to look?

That's a Really Advanced Setup issue, not an issue with this pack. I'll fix the TXT_KEY issue

I've fixed it but steam is being problematic in uploading it. Meantime, just remove the Civ IV traits support from the support file and it should work

I'm not sure how to get this installed via Steam. I've subscribed, but it never shows up as a selectable civ nor as a scenario (not sure the latter is supposed to even happen, but double checked anyway).

Can someone provide steps to get this active?

+2 food and +1 food on deer, wheat, and bananas vs +2 food IF the city has 3 adjacent sea tiles and +1 food on fish and crabs.
Even on island maps, cities with 3 adjacent sea tiles are uncommon, and are often not great. Even if a city does have 3 sea tiles, it doesn't get anything more than the regular granary. And given that the granary is such a commonly built building, oftentime in every one of your cities...all but a few will be -2 food less then they should be.

The fish and crab bonus is fair. It's entierly possible for crabs not to show up on the map, though, which is lame.

As long as we're talking...could you comment on my preveous post on Rapa Nui? That's the star civ of the show here in my book.

Tonga's Mala'e is much weaker then it's listed above. It's worse than the regular Granary, in fact.
Are there earlier versions of this mod available somewhere, before all these nerfs?

Rapa Nui isn't working as advertised at all. We Love the King! days and great person points arn't triggering upon egg discovery, Moai's provide 1 faith and 2 extra on egg sites and are otherwise vanilla Moai with culture and whatnot, and Matato'a don't have +1 range.
It's a pity, because I love them on paper. Explain!
