Great mod, really fun to play!
It seems that since the last update the game crashes when launching any empire campaign. I haven't tested the other campaigns. Tested without other mods and reinstalled.
Thanks for your work
If you only change muzzle velocity but leave the projectile MASS alone, then the projectiles will have much greater knockback force, which will cause infantry models to trigger invincible frames when knocked down. Meaning, overall these modified projectiles will do much less damage to infantry, greatly affecting balance.
To fix this, every projectile where you have increased muzzle velocity, also cut their mass down to 25% of the original. (Assuming you've doubled all, because of the way the KE formula works, it works the mass need to be quartered rather than halved.) You also have to keep the mass as an integer, no decimals, which means you would have to do rounding.
So for example, if a projectile has a mass of 5, 5/4 = 1.25, but you'd round down to 1.
If I test it in the game, it kinda feels like they shoot with the same velocity as a crossbow unit
