@Ordo Malleus This mod should always work unless CA changes the unit caps. It is so simple it is basically future proof for the most part, so no need for me to update it. Although I do keep my eye on the patch notes in case they do mess around in this area.

@thedrjayrob there's a wonderful website called google that you can input search queries and get an output of results! give that a shot and you should be able to answer any question you've ever had, including what RPFM is!

A bit OP, but I think its fine. I tend to find myself sticking to vanilla's range for these folks since they're...just...*so* good. Typically don't even need any more than 4 amethyst ironsides and amethyst outrider, adding in the hellstorm or landship just...add...to how much the enemy suffers, heh.

Any chance of more specalized upgrades for units, like War Wagons have their own upgrades rather than being folded in with outriders and unique line for the Long Riffles

@Pamparampampamparam No worries, I appreciate comments and ideas. I think a mod came out today that adds the Nuln Gunnery School upgrades to the tech trees of other empire factions. Adding new mechanics to other factions seems to not be possible according to more experienced modders. Thanks again!

Sorry if it came across me belittling your mod for not being exactly what I want; I have zero mods to my name and so have no right to complain lol.

It was just some musing I had about the system as a whole and how I would improve things. Like for instance giving every Empire faction access to the Nuln Gunnery School upgrades but locking them out of the Amethyst units until you recruit von Draken as a Legendary Lord, and then they are restricted exclusively use by her.

@Pamparampampamparam I believe that would be possible since there is already a vanilla tech for Elspeth that increases the capacity in her army alone by 3. However, I think that is well out of my skill range at the moment to figure out.

I am also ok with my mod as it works for now. I wanted more flexibility with my army compositions and if I want to restrict myself I can do so. If there is enough call for a larger cap but not a full stack, I could release an alternate version raising the cap to 10 or something. I was hesitant to pick a number since it would always be arbitrary based on my preferences. I do appreciate your feedback and it gives me ideas for mods to look into as I learn how to do this. Thank you!

I think a more balanced version where you keep the original caps but add bonuses from von Draken's tree to boost it only for her would be cool. Make it part of her 'Magistrix of the Amethyst Order' skill that she gets a +4 capacity for Amethyst units or something.

Would it be possible to tie that functionality into a Lord skill?

Hhmm. I love mods like this that weaken CA's knack for hard limitations, but wouldn't having just 8 of them already be a guaranteed so-called "doomstack"? Well, should you consider making/trying out another version that's sitting in the middle between "cheat mod" and "CA super restrictive", then I'd love to run that and I'm pretty sure 8 could be a sweet spot.
