There are multiple mods that add USA support guns, mostly MGs, mortars, and artillery. I will make it a light mod, only ATs.

This mod will continue to be WWII equipment but I cannot promise anything will be added soon, I might do leIG for this mod but it could take me NEXT year for me to start drawing again. For british equipment, I will do it once Gate of Hell added more emplacement because I cannot fine any detail pom pom.

I play test my mod both with CE and without CE. It works fine, possible that other mods may cause compatibility issues.

@Connor Go to CE discord and ask around. If anything, try to disable all mods and only turn on CE and this one, then try shooting with it

Hey, whats up. i seem to have a problem when using CE, weapons dont ask for ammo, neither do they work once i turn off the ammo setting. their little aiming circle on the front of the gun appears, closes and then when it should fire, it just doesnt. please i have been looking to find the answer to why it doesnt work but i just cant find it, i hope u have experience with it. thanks in advance. im also playing on 1.5

Could we have a toggle to rechamber the machine guns to 8mm Mauser? Or maybe just have the 7.62x51mm version of the MG42 as an MG3 for people who want it in a more common caliber? I feel like the argument for common calibers is kinda moot since the simplified ammo system exists, but I would be fine with just having an option.

It is in the security, it is a turret. Can be place and packed. Just only research the doctrine and it would be visible in the building security.

Hey, it seems that some of the weapons in your mods can't be built, in fact I tried to craft an mg 42 but I couldn't find it in the smithy table or machining table or maybe it's in another workbench, if so could you please tell us.

MG 34 using 225 steel and 4 comps
from 280 steel and 5 comps
MG 42 using 240 steel and 4 comps
from 300 steel and 5 comps

research point from 1000 reduce to 900

I do not think it is making anymore sense to lower any of the construction cost after this, think of it as the tripod cost of production. I do believe that my MGs are much more accurate than the portable one and have more bullets per burst, that is the benefit of it. Still, feel free to comment, I will try my best to adjust my mod.

These guns should really be in their proper caliber. There's already dozens of mods adding defensive turrets and such that are in common calibers like 7.62 NATO. I don't think anyone is using this for efficiency, they're using it for RP along with other WW2 mods, which are going to be in their proper calibers with CE.

I honestly can't tell what you could possibly mean by this, but I will die on the hill that this mod's MG34 and MG42 are far too expensive because compared to mods that add pawn portable versions, these ones are insanely overpriced to the point of costing at least twice as much with no benefit.

As for ammunition, if people using a mod that adds a variety of historical weapons dont want a variety of different kinds of ammunition, they will just disable CE's ammo system, used the simplified version, or not use CE.

Using 7.62x51mm NATO so that the player doesn’t have to produce many type of ammunition. I try to lower the amount of specific ammo for each support gun since it will just over crowd the storage.

For the cost, the reinforced barrel can be pretty expensive isn’t it? Around 100-300 each and since you cannot craft it, I do believe that it is the balance cost for both.

For Pak 40, I will check it again.

Issues I've noticed include: MG34 and MG42 using 7.62x51mm NATO, Pak 40 using 76.2x385mmR, and the previously noted excessive cost of the machine guns

I am really sorry. It is my fault this part but I was waiting for the CE patcher to do it, I do believe that he already forget about it. This patch was made by me (can be pretty unstable).

I would assume because it isn't actually CE compatible, if there is a CE patch it was completely broken when I tried to use this mod, and by the sounds of it nothing has changed

Unrelated to my previous comment, the construction costs of the machine guns seem rather excessive to me, the man portable versions from Rim at War are much cheaper and have the advantage of being portable

Installed the mod, only to find that either steam installed it wrong or something is broken since the info cards dont show up and throw red errors in the debug log, none of the ammunition is craftable, and none of the guns use ammunition despite the fact I have CE installed.
Im using RW 1.4 if that's of any importance. I'll see if forcing steam to reinstall the mod fixes anything later
