5 Telecommunication satellites is enough to cause total destabilization in a single civ to make their entire civ turn into free cities.

If your satellites don't have the ability icon, it must be a mod conflict. Try disabling any recent mods that you installed. For some reason, Cook's rebalanced rock bands caused my satellites to have their ability icon dissapear.

I think there are only two shortcomings, the others are all perfect. The first one is that the airplane was used as a model and it was lying on the ground, which is really ugly. It's better to be invisible directly The second shortcoming is that it cannot overlap with other units This is really far from the big picture, satellites are tens of thousands of meters high, but they cannot overlap with units on the ground My suggestion is, is there a way to make the script of civilian satellites overlap with other units like religious units? Anyway, installing this mod can elevate the post game to a higher level, but the above issues affect immersion (syntax may be incorrect)

我认为只有两点不足,其他的都堪称完美,第一点是以飞机作为了模型,而且是趴伏在地上的,这实在是很丑,不如直接隐形...第二点不足是无法与其他单位重叠...这一点实在是离了大谱,卫星在几万米高空,却无法与地上的单位重叠... 我的建议是,有没有办法让民用卫星的脚本变成像宗教单位一样的可与其他单位重叠?不管怎么样,安装这个mod之后可以把后期游戏提升一个高度,唯独上述问题影响沉浸感

You are also revolutionary for your refueling system for the satellites , you should totally make this system for bombers in like a separate mod , so you can fly bombers long ranges and then just refuel them as you go instead of only being able to re-base them, like how the US military does with our B2 spirits make it work exactly like how your satellites work but for stealth bombers or jets .

Bro I love this mod and its something I have looked forward to every since civ BOE , I honestly don't know why satellites aren't just in the game , but can you please just make the jet unit or whatever your using to display the satellite in game invisible or something, I imagine there was an issue changing the unit to resemble an actual satellite or something , but honestly we dont need anything there just give us the normal icon to show where it is, its killing the immersion so bad man . Good work though and thank you for even making this possible at all. PS if you could even atleast just make an alternative version of the mod like this that would be dope too. Also making the rods of god weapon shoot just like normal missiles or just cause damage would be cooler than making it shoot nukes since there's already so many things to deploy nukes from its a bit redundant late game , would be so much cooler to just have the satellite do high amounts of ranged damage that isnt just a nuke.

When I move this mod to enabled it states in red "Multiplayer-No" so I assume that goes for hot seat mode also unless told otherwise.

Can this mod be used playing multiplayer? Fermata in Mystic Air's comment is reason for my inquiry. I assume if I play hot seat multiplayer it is okay and in all other multiplayer cases it would function as long as all players had this mod installed.

so I build the station and all, I make the rod of gods and stuff like that and it launches it in the sky... and then nothing, how do I use the units, are there suposed to be units like tank and such, or do I have to press something to acces the pannel to use it. Pls Help

Sadly, this mod and Space Race mod seem to crash. When I activate both modes at the same time, the Satellite Units mode doesn't apply at all. Is it just me?

So Am i understanding you need a nuke to use rods from god, that defeats the whole lore of rods from god. Its suppose to be a non nuclear alternative.

This mod is awesome. Highly recommend to anyone who loves playing late game civ6. My only critique is that I think there needs to be more Kessler levels beyond the current 5, because In all my games I reached level five very quickly.

I wouldn't mind seeing more super dramatic effects at 30k+ space junk, or 40k+ etc, because currently 12k space junk is the maximum. Anyway, I love this mod, try it out.

In civ 5, the international space station is very important, and functioned as a wonder. The ISS could function similar to that- it doesn't have to be a wonder, but it could give a diplomatic victory point, plus various boosts that support a diplomatic and scientific victory, like a one-time science boost, a boost of great scientist points, or a one-time diplomatic favor boost, if possible.

And the most important question (without in any way detracting from the work done): what is all this for? On the one hand, a mechanic has been introduced that slows down the achievement of a scientific victory. On the other hand, a considerable amount of content has been introduced designed to weaken this slowdown (and at the same time introduce elements of achieving other types of victory). To be honest, I don't think this approach is reasonable. A unintelligible complication of a game that already has a sufficient amount of content (and a fairly well-balanced one). In any case, thanks for the interesting mod, I think it will find his fans.

@imiami, Satellites have a combat strength for defense purpose, I would have loved satellites to be immune to ground units like airplanes do but I thought they were too limited, as you can't move them freely and then do an action with them in the same turn. Unless those satellites are purpose built for attack (like Laser and Rods of God sats who can) they simply can't launch an attack and even if they did their attack is reduced to zero. Normal units can engage them, but they're real chances to damage them is if they have the Anti Satellite ability, list is in the updated description. The Military Sat does provide combat bonuses and the GPS movement points, others don't. Lifespan does not scale with gamespeed (I forgor). I didn't want to mess too much with the AI, they gain some free satellites when they complete Space Race projects so you should still see somes flying around, but I don't know if the AI can use the satellites "Special Actions".

@shilomagic Yes you can, might be a bit busted as you can purposefully select a city without loyalty loss, but still it's production convert to culture so idk.

@Spirit I currently don't have idea for such satellite, JNR was doing it with the Weater Sat but I've decided to replace it with a less impactfull bonus with Favors. Maybe redoing the ISS could be interesting.

@SpatialX thank you for the clarifications, it become a little clearer, but there are still a lot of questions. New satellites have the Melee Strength characteristic. Can they engage in battles with normal units? What about being attacked by them? Or satellites are support units that provide appropriate bonuses and do not interact in any way with regular units? Similarly, what about their interaction with each other? Does lifespan scale with game speed? Can AI use the mod's capabilities?

This is better than JNR's satellite projects. This is really innovative and makes the game fresh and new again. I'm looking forward to seeing more in the future. What do you think about having a high-production satellite have their special ability to grant a diplomatic victory point directly, or in a promotion?

Cool concept that civ6 really should have copied over from beyond earth to begin with, really could use some art to make the units really pop (according to the screenshots they're all jet fighters?).

@imiami sorry, i'll try to be more precise, those satellites are a new kind of unit that are created via projects unlocked in the late tech tree. All projects requires you to have a Spaceport and to have completed the "Launch Earth Satellite" project, the Space Station and Space Shuttle also requires you to have completed the moon landing. They have an orbit that is determined in their first turn. If on their first turn you move them 2 tile east and 3 tile north, their orbit will be that (not moving on the first turn will assign an orbit or 4 west 0 north). When you end the turn, the satellite will teleport to it's new position and still have 3 movement points that you can use to move your satellite like any other unit.

可惜文明六没有像文明超越地球一样有卫星的图层,不然感觉这个模组应该可以做到更好,毕竟卫星是一个独立单位了

What exactly are these new satellites? New class of units? Where and how are they created? How do they interact with vanilla ones? Do they only move automatically (i.e. the ability to use their special actions is quite limited by their current location)? In general, there are more questions than answers. An extremely meager description that gives virtually no opportunity to evaluate the mod before using it (and to do this, you must first almost completely complete the current game).
