If you really do not like this game's paint choices (lord knows a lot of us do), then install mods that either remove the more offensive paint options or change them to something more fitting/saturated. That's a much more proactive approach to this very niche problem of yours instead of arguing with workshoppers for making items paintable, just because you're irrationally annoyed about the extreme minority of players who like the more overzealous choices.
