Bright Pink and Neon Green are not great colours, we know, but those were colours chosen by Valve a decade ago. Just because there's an extremely minute handful of people who use them doesn't mean they represent the majority who play this game.

If you really do not like this game's paint choices (lord knows a lot of us do), then install mods that either remove the more offensive paint options or change them to something more fitting/saturated. That's a much more proactive approach to this very niche problem of yours instead of arguing with workshoppers for making items paintable, just because you're irrationally annoyed about the extreme minority of players who like the more overzealous choices.

I would change the paint region to the goggle strap instead of the helmet. Becomes to loud when painted otherwise.

also from what i've seen the most common paints on the majority of cosmetics ive seen are either yellow or purple, which are pretty inoffensive colors in my opinion.

that paint region already seems desaturated lol (also i hate when a paint region is desaturated since i love painting my cosmetics regular paints such as team spirit, and it comes out fucked just because people hate it when 5 mfs paint a hat lime green or something)

My suggestion is to desaturate the paint region by just a few notches
