So it makes your panel unfunctional, I have to unsub the cheat mod now :D
I think you should put this mod into your Compilation.
Should not cause a crash either as they are identical, so one would just replace the other without issue. I still hope to find a better way/fix but it will most likely take an entire day or more, so maybe when summer vacation hits us.
I believe then I can confirm that running this - even though I shouldn't have - doesn't seem to cause problems.... <3 I think ;)
I have my own mods above any other mods I use, don't know if that affect anything.

I honestly don't know, but could it be a language localization mod thing? I feel like it should not be.
Lastly I can only think of mod order or some entirely other mod in your collection taking precedence over this.

I made my mods compatable with unique tanks, meaning there is just another crafting panel named tanks or something in the scrollbar like any other items, only the smithy icon in the bottom right corner is changed to the cogwheel from the tank mod.
The resources in my mod is floating on the right hand side to not block anything. Does your resources float like shown in the picture here or as shown on my "Armourygeddon" mod?
If that is not the case, I would assume the artifact shop you mention are overriding this fix, as I have thoroughly tested my own mods yesterday and with unique tanks. Also judging from people getting custom resources via landmark mods, it worked for them too.
I assume the artifact shop mod you mention must override this somehow. You could try placing this mod above it in the load order.

Other mechanics could probably be the same if modders wish to tweak it like that.
@Kane Beckett - Sorry, I have no idea as of this moment on how to fix that as I have never dabbled into it. That said there are a few UI modders on the workshop, who might be better suited at helping you out or perhaps even "Rhox" on discord, as he codes a lot of awesome features, but I believe he is always kneedeep in big extensive projects.

A much bigger problem usually is that quite a few used to overwrite others that you want/need (e.g. it might be that Rag's forge mod completely makes Robie's Unique Steam Tanks' one disappear etc.). IIn THAT particular case the ST panel *can* just be another "tab" under his forge, I've had it in the past - then you save 1 overall, /w full control over those 2!
RN, Wissenland uses 2-3 on top, and if you also use the Empire Faith mods (add 2), Steam Tanks (1) it already gets crazy crammed. But can you not still hit the edges of the button, they're actually gone off the screen? I mean is it ugly or unusable?

If this does change how the "larger" list of resources is disaplaced in the lower sixth (?) of the diplomacy screen - which I think is the most glaring issue of resource icon overlap - I'd like to see that in a screenshot for sure.
Also, if there are indeed a "variety" of custom resource containing mods out there on the Workshop, can I please get a list of them? :) HAHAHA
Seriously, I just know "Commodities" (which I believe works alongside yours without any problems, even the icon compatibility, in terms of looks, is decent. I know Nat's for CHD but that's it. Hook a brother up!! ;)

You can change a lot if you find the correct stuff in the 7500 lines file where many are simply called the same. I remember spending a few hours last year with trial and error just to randomly find the correct part, which I have happily forgotten where it was in the many lines.
I intended to go back to it at some point and try to fixate the panel next to the crafting menu and perhaps widen it as well, but not right now.
But let me know if you can make it hidden, that would be a very nice feature.
Does someone has also a solution for the "action wheel bar" in the right bottom screen. I have so many mods with the empire that some buttons are out of the screen and are not accessible. I hope anyone can help me.
Should be a few more DLC in the works down the line, so perhaps the next one, but you are in no way obliged to do so when it happens, should you wish otherwise when times come around. :)
