Walked the battlefield twice during my 6 years in Deutschland (Air Force). Read "A Bridge to Far" i high school and was hooked. Today, you would never dream such a battle raged there. Peace won, free Dutch enjoying their bikes but take a look at the older trees and you see the scars of battle. If you visit, stay in Arnhem, enjoy Cafe Vrijdag downtown and people watch outside. Stay at Vesting10 B&B, best area in town. Enjoy! - Doc
