The design doc linked here has the link.
Why not just put the link here, you ask?
Well, it's to get you used to the War Of The Glass style of thinking!

I know, it was a total mistake to not have read about it on the Never Again description.

Fantastic work again!

To be fair, the description of the Never Again ability on units tells you which missions they won't be able to go to, so presumably you would know about the problem before it will be time to do Leviathan. But whatever works :)
Great job finishing it. If you have any feedback, comments, or questions, feel free to write here/ a new discussion / on the collection page / DM me on Discord.

Actually, scratch that. I did end up killing them! I did have to turn off the never again mod to get the A team as I didn't realize it applied to Levitan....but Thanks for the tips! Friggin Satisfying

haha, thanks gonna give it a shot but the additional avatars are not making easy!

Maybe a more practical advise is how I learned to play this from DerAva: pick a side in Leviathan, and move all your soldiers there. Hold up there, kill everything that moves from the other side, and don't overextend towards the other side.
lordabizi  [author] 11 Jun, 2024 @ 9:58pm
well you just need to kill one more then :P
As someone smart once said, Leviathan is the only mission in the game in which you fight the aliens on equal footing. Everyone but the commander are expandable.

To be honest, Levethian is crazy hard. I even sent in my A team, and maybe can kill 2 of the 3 ethreals , but the constant monsters warping in are just too much. I think it's a tad OP. But again, maybe this is the point?

Wow already at the end! Pretty impressive. I would be very interested to hear if you have any feedback or comments or any problems you have encountered.

I got the missions and killed 2 of the buggers. forgot about the never again mod, and my soldiers are dieing on the last ocean mission...it's punishing

how did I get there so fast? pumped hours into it..lol
lordabizi  [author] 4 Jun, 2024 @ 11:10am
also, how come you already do the chosen stronghold? what is your mission count? seems fast relatively to when this was made public? (out of curiosity)
lordabizi  [author] 4 Jun, 2024 @ 11:01am
You need to complete the Hunt The Chosen chain, which has story gating on. Stages 1,2 is available once you meet the chosen and faction. Stage 3 is to wait until you skulljack an officer or do the blacksite. This unlocks stages 4,5. Stage 6 is to wait huntil you do the Forge or skulljack a codex (I think). Once you do it, Stage 7 unlocks.

I know you wrote that the chosen need a certain pre requites to open the strong hold...but I can't seem to figure what pre reqs to find them.. I think I've advanced the chain already, but so you have the documented pre reqs anywhere?

they are getting annoying but this is a fantastic mod

just learn the google doc and the two google sheets linked within by heart and you'll be fine haha

Thanks for the response. Nothing makes sense at the moment but I'm willing to learn Lol.

I personally play with integrated DLC. I suppose this doesn't make a whole lot of difference, the way you integrate them.
I'm not sure I understand the second question. Autoloaders and Expanded Mags still should drop normally (I did not touch that, I only removed the experimental magazine and speed loader from Spark Arsenal), unless reload rework changes that. As for the interactions of autoloaders and turn-ending reloads - I don't have any experience. Also bear in mind that shotguns and cannons have their own unique reloading mechanics (as per ABW: cannons take 2 actions to reload, shotguns reload one ammo at a time, for a blue move. I don't think Reload Ends Turn changes that, but it changes a bit the "balance").

Anyway, I'm happy to see you try it out! Please let me know if you have any questions or run across things that don't seem to make sense!

This looks awesome. Only played gatecrasher as a test run so far. Couple of questions, should integrated downloadable content be checked or unchecked? I usually use [WotC] Reload Rework (Reload Ends The Turn) with no lost headshots except for overwatch, would this screw me as far as the availability of auto-loaders and expanded magazines?

I'm not following.
