I dont run vengeance at all, nor do i use "AI use custom shipset".

Tries turning off all mods except the UI and KGE + KSE, and whiel the preview issue gets corrected, the ATT shill shows up if using another (vanilla) shipset/is used as the default landing ship. (though it does fix the preview issue, and havent seen the automatic recreation of ships happening so far)

Sorry but you have defo an issue on your side. Everthing runs as it should on mine.

If you run "AI use custom shipsets" turn that crap off.

Don't run KGE + KSE and Vengeance + VSE in the same mod setup.

got a few issues with the mod myself (I dont think any mod conflict causes this):

-one the preview during specie customization, quite a few models from other shipsets get replaced by kurogane ones for some reason: they are fine in game however. Th easiest exemple to spot is the ion cannon, but sometimes its even just a section that gets replaced with a kurogane ship. That affects most if not all shipsets, vanilla included

-All shipsets have access to the ATT (but not the ironclad/conquistador/artemis as normal), and use the kurogane ship model for them in-game whielthe ship model is invisible in the ship builder

-lastly, there is a weird bug with some of the added ships (conquistador and ATT) where if you create a custom model and delete the auto-generated one, the game will attempt to recreate an automatic model after a short while. The Artemis and Ironclad are fine however

I don't know what is going on on your side. I have checked it with and without NSC active. All models do show.

You might have a mod conflict or the mod download from Steam failed.

For me it seems like about 3/4 of the models are the KGE models, with the last quarter defaulting to Mammalian ships

Wanted to throw this in here as a bug report, for some reason it seems not all strike craft get converted to the custom model. no idea whats causing it

Construction ships and troop transports deploy 'drones' when they're building or landing troops, certain shipsets have custom models for even those.

I am not, It's not a big issue though, it doesn't actually affect anything whilst in-game. It's just a visual bug while looking at the ships in the empire creation menu. I have not seen anyone else report it so it's likely a conflict with something else i'm using.

Does this mess up the ship viewer during empire creation for anyone else? Other ship sets sometimes appear as kurogane or a kit bashed combination of the two. in particular star bases.

For some reason when using this mod, in the shipset viewer, the starbases have kurogane ships kit bashed into them. doesn't seem to translate in-game though. the issue only seems to be present in the empire editor ship viewer.

The mod is not compatible with my ship-sets and their sub-mods. I have notified the modder of the mod that this is the case and he deleted

Hello @Gage, firstly, thank you for the great shipset mod, i absolutely enjoyed it, love the design, and my rugged mammalian empire can be cool AND nasty.

Just a question, I noticed that when i use the this with AI using custom shipset mod, the ai uses custom shipset but they ATT as their transport, is there any way for you to modify the ATT to be used just for players instead of ai? looks weird as they are having Trivalgan shipset from EVE but having Kurogane ATT as their transport.

Its all good its not possible, thanks in advance!

Addendum to my last comment:

I'm an absolute idiot, and the lesson to be learned here is to just go to bed instead of trying to fix stuff while tired.

"United Fleet Shipset" now apparently comes with NSC compatibility by itself.
The "NSC patch" is redundant....

Once again I'm so sorry for all this...
I'll be going being ashamed in the corner of the room now :steamdeadpan:

So I tested this just now and your are right + I'm an idiot for not adding in my first comment that both "United Fleet Shipset" and it's "NSC patch" are installed and active,
Sorry.

Test load order (only these mods + UI Overhaul):

-UI Overhaul Dynamic
-NSC3
-United Fleet shipset
-United Fleet NSC patch
-Kurogane 2.0
-Kurogane Expanded

And the result is that here at least cruisers are a thing again, yet Battlecruisers/ Dreadnoughts etc (NSC ships above Strike Cruiser) are grayed out.

I guess at this point(more like tomorrow, it's past 1am here) I should just re-install the game and re-subscribe mods just to be sure it isn't some steam/paradox launcher "hiccup"..

Thanks for the heads-up but I've tested it 10 minutes and everything works for both ship-sets.

All ships from both sets are buildable including those of KSE.

Maybe it's a load order issue.

Load order:
- NSC
- Untited Fleet
- KGE 2.0
- Kurosections Expanded (if used).

So I just figured out why I can't design cruisers. And battlecruisers and dreadnoughts (Kurogane Expanded) cant be build (grayed out)...
It's incompatible with "United Fleet Shipset" ... Is this already known?
I didn't play stellaris for a while, yet can remember having both mods active in one playlist did not result in issues back then.

Note: I'm not writing this to request it being fixed. Merely to inform people about it.

Kurogane Expanded is my favorite shipset for this game. I got really worried because the one i use hasn't been updated (not that it was needed for 4 years. PS The hangar battleship and missile cruiser are amazing!) The Terran Alliance is same from 4.0 destruction! :D
