This is probably a longshot, I missplaced the crafting manual for the DB Crossbow and can't find it. Is there a way to get a copy?

I don't care if they are the same model as the Dwarven Crossbow, it's still an amazing mod and quite nice not having to grind through Dawnguard.

This is a great mod - I love using crossbows more than bows, so it was a fun addition to each faction and be more powerful in game.

@Deserter can you add if you haven't already, the ability for guards, imperials and stormcloaks to use the crossbows

How do I actually get these things? I join DB and couldn't find a crossbow anywhere, nor could I craft one. The whole reason I got this mod was so I could start a character out with a crossbow from the begining without having to complete several prerequisites for a questline I don't plan on playing.
And while I admire the idea of keeping it lore-friendly and making me work for it, I feel like the reason most people would use this mod is to start out with a cool-looking weapon tied to their faction of choice without having to complete the first 3 Dawngaurd quests just to have this weapon and a steady supply of ammunition for it. It gets boring when you want to play a specific type of character but have to spend the first few hours grinding an unrelated quest just to get the starting equipment you want.
Make it convienient, not lore-friendly.

I lost my nord hero book... can someone give the ID?

this mod works fine! you have to find a book, do some quests to get the permission and master your smith skill to get a requiered skill to build it. (dwarven/ebony etc)

I completed the questline for the companions but didnt get the ability to craft the crossbow at the skyforge.

I really love this mod beacuase it gives high quality crossbows to the other factions along with their own bolts to go with it. Can't forget the great backstory to make the mod lore-friendly but I have one question, shouldn't the vampires get a crossbow as well because they are a faction I think. I know it has a probibility to not be added because that kind off thing takes alot of time but I would like to know why a vampire wouldn't at least think on that idea. Once again a incredible mod that I will NEVER get rid of, thank you Deserter!

you find the imperial book in castle dour, the stormcloak one in the room with galmar in, the dark brother hood book in either sanctuary, dawnguard one next to the forge and thieves guild one somewhere in the rataway (i can't remember where - just look around the ragged flagon)

It was a good idea, but the execution was horrible. It doesn't work for so many people and when it does, it's too much work anyway. Goodbye, crossbow mod.

could someone please give me the ID for the stormcloak manual because I left it somewhere to free up weight but now I need more bolts.

For some reason the crossbows won't work in 3rd preson view and my character is stuck in t-pose. So nothing would happen during the kill cam things.

I like the lore about everyone suddenly having crossbows, however if @vinchenjackal&shoon is right it would be such a waste of effort.

Crossbows existed in previous Elder Scrolls games, and were used heavily by humans and elves in past wars of Tamriel... so if anything this is a mod that could use a slight Lore alteration if the Lore in the description exists in game. However, I must admit, this game could use crossbows for more than just the select few folk in game brought on by Dawnguard. Hopefully you have various NPCs spawn with crossbows too and not just regular bows.

this is a irrelvant question, but should i join the dawnguard or the vampires,on my old playthrough,i joined the vampires but did not finish the storyline.
