But they will take time, and no major addons will come until the TR update in august.
So if you have any ship suggestions, feel free to ask.
And so it's very VERY unlikely for the NR to make a similar upgrade.
Sorry, I haven’t been updating the mods for a year now, I have been facing some hard depression and have not found any motivation.
So it’s likely just no longer compatible with the main mod.
Hopefully it won’t be many months before I can get back to it.
(Also accidentally deleted your second comment, wrote this on my phone)
That's in the plan, but the integraion has been problematic, but the changes I made to base mod units has been making lua crash, and I cannot figure out what, so when I have time I'll have to rewrite it all to new XML copies, one unit at the time
Either by the end of this week, or sometime next week. I'm having issues with the importing of the FOTR assets, so they might not come the next update, but the following
I see, forgot to fix that when I changed the Squadrons loadout, I'll fix it in the next update
But even then the file system is so different, as all units and such are often in their own files, and not compiled by XMLs, which is the real reason why Compatibility is difficault, because the whole file is overwritten, not the identical code inside.
EaW mods like TR read specified files with specified lines, so for me to make it compatible, I'd have to either add all other unit mods units to the XML file and everything exept their textures and models, not use any file that the other submods use, or make an extension for Thrawn's Revenge that reads the new files I'd have to make specifically.
Which as you might understand it quite hard for someone who has never taken a programming course, ever, I taught myself how to make most of the alterations I've made to the units/adding units to other factions.
No, it isn't really accurate at all to lore overall, but it would make for a fun game mechanic in sub mods case in point, I'm really enjoying my current run!
Most of those ships saw action even in the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Lucrehulk and Venator class especially, and during the imperial era most separatist holdouts just continued massproducing CIS ships like the munificent and providence.
It's also good for a small deviation alternate, as they can just have upgraded the systems while keeping the look, and returning to Republic ships is a huge symbol for the return of the Republic.
Not to mention the Invincible-class Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser that was developed 1000 years before the New Sith Wars, yet saw service in the Imperial Navy, 3000 years later.
not to mention that in the early days of the rebellion, the Rebel Alliance used many Clone Wars ships during the reign of the Empire, like Pelta-class frigates, Venators or Dreadnaught heavy cruisers for example (In short, is lore-friendly and fun at the same time to have more diversified and buildable ships)
Thanks :)
