Crashes the game in version 6.10. Worked OK before that. Imperial doesn't work either. However, druchii and asur both still work.

try running it with only mine. when i checked a few weeks ago mr soul's forge mods still had the file that causes the crash.

I'm having ctd on all forge mods. I click the craft and crashes on yours and Mr.Soul's.. I have two ancillary mods; fusable banners and legendary lord / hero artefacts would that be a conflict problem? Is it because of items pool or something?

and about the "all in one" mod as well, I would only do one of those after i felt they were all complete? which would mean 4 items of each rarity and each type (ie 4 white, green and blue items for weapons, and talismans, etc) along with at least one purple crafted set. for all the factions I would make one for. which might of course, take a while :p

eventually, between mr soul and I, we'd like to have one of these for every faction (except dwarfs and tomb kings of course). But I've not spoken to him in a while and I myself don't have much time or motivation for total war modding at the moment.

stuff I learned when making the empire one (and used in the cathay one) makes a kislev one a lot more likely though

I have to disagree with Autumnchain, making items cost large amounts of gold often makes it not worth making them at all in the first place, because it would be better spent on a building than a green item. Even raising a new army is highly preferrable over making a few items (even blue ones) and theres always item fusion if they start accumulating. I really like the added resource layer.

it was also a thematic thing, wanting to have a resource tied to yin and one tied to yang, and have the split of resources needed for the categories that i did as well. also i'd feel bad getting rid of the icons driblex put so much work into.

I would much rather change the amount items need to craft and/or the amount you gain each turn. personally the fact that they are only used for crafting doesnt both me much, because as you said oathgold is like that in vanilla.

maybe down the line i could add some campaign, settlement, or army effects that need one or both resources. but that would be long term, as i feel it'd need script that i currently dont know how to do.

The thing about the Oathgold resource compared to regular gold (or its equivalents) is that it is easy to prevent gold from accumulating where it is doing nothing. Just build things and when funds are coming faster than they can be spent, raise an army to make use of your excess. Oathgold can only be spent in the Forge in the vanilla game and once you've recruited a character and crafted their armaments, the crafted armaments cannot be lost. If you lose the character, you'll simply recruit another one but won't have to spend the Oathgold since you retain the dead character's gear. Mods are able to reduce the issue of endless Oathgold accumulation by giving more things to spend it on but it's extremely unlikely that the same will happen with your two resources. That's why I think just spending gold is fine, if you're worried about how Cathay has a strong economy and thus a lot of gold, just make their version of The Forge cost a lot of it.

I didn't want to make them use only gold, as cathay gets enough of that. I do plan on doing continuous balance on both how much everything costs and how much of them you gain, but that requires more testing, perhaps you would be willing to help me with that?

I'm a bit sceptical of the necessity of Dragon Steel/Jade. It seems like it'll be similar to Oathgold in that one ends up accumulating it to massive numbers because it will flow in far faster than any player could ever spend it unless they are going out of their way to purchase a whole bunch of magic items even if they don't have characters to give said items to.
