I read that the Grand Archive DLC gives Boarding Cables via a event for the Treasure Hunter's Origin. Could those be repurposed? Or at least have the mechanics copied over to the Boarding Pods?

I think the player should receive some kind of debuff to their economy to give incentive to raiding and pillaging mechanics. Maybe a yearly event that triggers once you have a neighbor that decreases the income of Energy and trade? Once you raid the neighbor it goes back to normal?

It feels underwhelming as a Megacorp, is this intended? I feel like i don't need to engage with the origin mechanics as a megacorp.

Oh because I read this in Great Khan Expanded:
Become the new Khan Crisis (if you defeat him - only human player ^^- beta 3.2 + NSC2 freebooter support)
So I thought this was a new combo feature.
I just recently subscribed to this mod, I used to play only great khan few months ago.
I'll try another game with only Great Khan enabled to see if this issue.

@DoubleLight: This should be an issue with The Great Khan Expanded (as this feature is not included in this mod) I'll look for this there.

Hi, I chose to become the successor after I defeated the Great Khan, but nothing happened. (just re-assign council)
A few months later, I lost the game.
After reading some comments, it seems like my government type should have changed and I should get the Khan's Heir civic. (I can find the civic in the list, but I can't select it.)
Did I miss something?
I choose the Cybernetic Ascension Path, my original government type is the advanced version of Oligarchic.

@Zionus5: My only guess yet is, it is the global max once conflict. I restricted the feature to only 1 player. The void born remove is intended, as it should be fully intersected.

Just to let you know I tried reloading twice: The "explore safehouse objective is busted, it doesn't create the archaeology site at all. I had a question does this origin remove the void born ascnetion perk on purpose? I wanted to use the

It doesn't switch my Origin now but I get the starting event from Treasure Hunters and for some reason my Empire from another game I played spawned in as a Pre-FTL then became FTL in one year.

I'm having the same issue as Youtubitz where my Origin changes to Treasure Hunters soon as I unpause the game after it starts.

Sorry to comment 3 times in a row but when i start a new game with the Origin the game start screens says i took freebooters but the empire screen where it shows ethics and civics and whatnot show's i have the treasure hunters origin, and i am pretty sure im not getting the resource bonus from mining stations, and the pre FTL's become space faring in like a year, maybe it;s a mod conflict?

I haven't played this origin since before it was dropped fro NSC i was just curious as i was preparing to do playtrough focused this mod and The Great Khan mod
an Upgradable Or especially designable Flagship would be cool, thanks for quick response.

Is the Flagship upgradable in any way, i play with ESC Next witch adds a couple tiers of tech that would make a flagship outdated after a while?

I think I'll remove the special freebooter habitat again and implement the. special things in another way. There is also still the to-do from suggestions (write them soon in the desc). There may be another surprise coming…

Reformig my goverment into a democratic concurrency caused all the districts an all of my freebooter habitats to disappear exept for agricultural ones

Also reactor and Zero-G districts are the only ones tied to orbitals (of the districts that remain) and will show 0 max districts if you destroy one specific major orbital.

@FirePrince 2/3 Habitation (+6 housing +0.5 building slots), 1/2 Industrial (with both artisans and metallurgists, +building slots), 2/2 Astro-Mining (also building slots). Everything else "Habitation (+8 housing) Foundry Factory Agriculture Bastion", stays at 0 and with no building slots. Zero-G and Reactor stay at 1.

alright i can confirm, the station loses all the districts except for the previously stated ones. i can't confirm if this happens for stations you build yourself, but it does to the starting one, and this is not caused by any incompatibilities. whether the dev will fix this mod or not, idk. i have no right to force them to, but i feel the need to point out the bug. anyways, have a good day/night everyone.

strange bug. not sure if it is caused by mod conflict, and i am still testing that theory, but atm the freebooter station, about a month into the game, bugs out and loses most of it's districts, with just the housing, alloys, consumer goods, bastion, and unity districts being there. will update once i have answers.

I don't know if this is caused by a mod conflict but when I complete the Khan's flagship it will give me the Khan's death happiness modifier even though he is still alive and the manifest destiny civic becomes invalid and it gives me the other 2 civics.
