For unusual effects, it requires the effect to be made 45 different times. Twice, one for view model and one for world model. Each Weapon has its own unique version of the effect. We split the work among 6 different people, so yes, it took 6 people to make this.

@MeatwadMeatwad Don't worry, I've thought about that repeatedly. Most weapon effects, like isotope and energy orb, already cause issues with gun visibility. Plus, I've tested it extensively ingame and have not noticed problems during gameplay, as muzzle flashes do not impact a game like TF2 as much as other shooters. There are typically other indicators of fighting, such as bullet trails, projectiles, even sound cues. Appreciate the concern, though!

I think that this effect as a whole can be too easily confused for a muzzle flash in the midst of combat, which can throw people off. Looks okay, but just that potential impact on gameplay still makes it a no from me.
