Could you make it so combine soldiers/elite pickup grenades and AR balls? to refill their grenade stocks

is there way to not make any npc drop weapon at all? while still being alive? because it takes them ages to pick a weapon up and them dropping it is annoying

Medkits are not suitable for NPCs.

I never got any npcs to be able to pick up medkits, is that a setting or am i missing something?

i used forced weapon to add it cuz it was too hard to give the other npcs weapons by dropping it and keeping them where i want them

Because shotgun soldier isn't a separate class it's part of npc_combine_s(every combine soldier)

putting the shotgun soldier in the list of npcs that cant pick up weapons doesnt do anything

Idk what are you talking about. But only npc_citizen and npc_odessa can pick HL2 weapons by default.

Had to get rid of it, it wasn't working with the purpose of what I had in mind, I tried dropping my TFA CAR-15 that is suppressed and with a reddot, I wanted to give that specifiic setup to an npc, the npc and weapon even when both registered in the mods options the NPC refused to pick it up infact the npcs would just wander on their own and ignore the weapon.

Suggesting that my ai mods etc are interfering perhaps.

If you really tried everything what I said and it didn't help, then I don't know how to help you, unless there's some lua error.

There's no such NPC like npc_refugee.
All citizen-like NPC(rebels refugees, citizens( uses npc_citizen.

Make sure your NPC is in a list of NPCs that can pick weapons, make sure that weapon is in a list of weapons that can be picked.

Open it and there's weaoon categories where all weapons placed.

In q menu there's weapons tab.

Uh. That's weird. I have most of my addons downloaded almost all the time and I haven't experienced any problems like this.
I'm sorry, but I can't really help you with this, if removing addons and restarting the game didn't do anything.

reinstalled, verificated files, disable all addons and metrocops and combine soldiers still tpose randomly.

No need to be mad. You should just restart the game after removing addons that replace anything.
