6.1 has broken custom maps, I'll keep looking into the cause but for now assume it's yet another bug to do with modding from this update

Just an update:
I've removed all mods, uninstalled the game and removed all folders and reinstalled and just added this mod and still the same. Map appears in the list but when loading into the battle its just a blank skybox.

I tried with just the original "Pick any Unit..." mod from RomoR that this is based on and same issue I'm afraid.

Not sure whats happening but on the latest version the maps appear in the list, but when starting a battle all the terrain is invisible and the units are floating in the sky.

I've verified game files within steam.
Unsubbed and resubbed to the mod and removed all other mods.

I'll keep trying stuff in case its me, but just thought I'd give you a heads up @RatboyW

And don't worry, notifications were wonky for all of us for a couple weeks, something to do with the workshop not being fully upgraded off the legacy API. Seems to be fixed now? Anyway thanks again homie :er_wave:

But thanks again for taking your time to, to port the maps over, its nice for quickly loading a map and to test units, especially if you are testing unit mods.

Ahh. cool, have totatlly forgotten how i did my mod, I had some issues back in the day messing with lod and alpha channels in wh1 tried making a different helmet design. But with ca patches and little modsupport, it ruined the mod and i kinda gave up on fixing it. But seeing all these custom models in warhammer 3, i guess that it has improved alot since wh1. I would like to port it over someday. Just saw your workshop, and seeing you doing some impressive port over from wh1 and wh2. So you might know how :)

I can look into it at some point, when I have time. RomoR still hasn't given official sanction for this to exist, so I'm hesitant to put a lot of effort into something that can be taken down at a moments notice.

But please if you can port them over aswell, its good for testing aquatic and forrest unit, aswell as the hill map, i spent so many hours using them, i miss them so much

and the other maps from warhammer 2?

map 7 is my latest detailed map, Skies over Norsca, its a map to try out your flying units matchups with a epic backdrop

map 8 Added a 400X400 flat fields map to test long battle lines or multiple units.

map9 Got tired of looking for a good map to test art so I made a 300x1000 map with 100meter marks!

map 10 A 400x400 map with shallow water on both deployments to test aquatic or lack of aquatic :)

Does it include all the maps from warhammer 1 aswell?

map 1 a small 100x100 flat green field, nice for testing melee troops.

map 2 a small 100x200 flat green field , good for testing range units thats not seige.

map 3 This is actualy a detailed map I made, its a Tiny 60x70 Greenskin Pit so you can have a nice backdrop while you test your units :) enjoy!

map 4 A Big Hill to test height advantage, 200x300

map 5 and 6 are 200x300 maps, 1 with a forest covering half the map, and thee other with forests in both deployment zones.
