Yeah, the EVO was mainly what I was referring to with the second part of my comment. Interesting that it was called Scopion on the site you used though, that's pretty funny.

Yeah when doing research for the gun, I thought the site I used called it "Scopion" I was like "That doesn't sound right" but I guess I stuck with it, also kinda got mixed up with BO2's version since it also has a weapon called Skorpion EVO and i figured it would work out in case I ever added that weapon or someone else did.

"scopion" a misspelling for sure, though it technically wouldn't be "scorpion" but rather it would be written as "Skorpion". At the same time though it's actually a good thing that the file has a different spelling, as that means any other theoretical mods that make any weapon named Scorpion/Skorpion won't conflict with this one.

Really cool! Do keep in mind that the worldmodel needs the invisible body with the bodygroup name being "main". This should fix the issue where the worldmodels are rendering within the first person view. :)

Hello @Lerrycapetime, I think it's awesome that you are adding more of the Left 4 Dead: Survivor weapons. I was curious though, not only is it mentioned additional weapons are included, but also that the stats of the weapons have been altered from their original values from the Arcade port. I was wondering, once you are done porting all the weapons original Survive weapons, could you post them on the workshop as a separate 'faithful & vanilla' mod that has their stats as they were before and only the guns from the arcade? I have no idea how difficult or feasible this would be, but I am curious. Also, when making these weapons, How long would you say it takes from the moment you decide to add one to the moment it is functionally apart of the game? And how long would you say I'd take to port over all the weapons from the arcade? Would love to know your thoughts.

Lerry, new update of custom weapon lab has been released. Third-person weapons are no longer visible but new custom weapon added by me still has. The author suggest tweaking smd file by decompile to LOD1 vertex world model, but I stuck at that part. Did you do that part?

Downside is that it doesn't have weapon hud, it doesn't contain a script that holds the hud

This is a bug in general with the base right now, i try to avoid answering people on this since it's been answered before and ends up becoming bloat, but I'll be kind enough to answer a few, if you pick up any item while holding the custom weapon the visible third-person will disappear, this is a temp solution until the dev fixes third-person models, you can also see the Steyr and etc if you have higher FOV and switch to a secondary.

Hey boss, having a bug here. When using the custom weapons from your mod i see a duplicate weapon floating around my view which seems to be the third person weapon model.

The reason i'm putting this here is because this only happens with custom weapons from your mod and not the base ones.

I'm presuming its a conflict with the 1st person legs script or a third person mod of some kind.

Yeah I sorta figured more people would be aiming for vanilla style infected health, just was waiting for those comments. I'll do some tweaking in the next patch.

I would strongly recommend making a version of this mod that has vanilla damage numbers, if you're able! The new weapons are all grossly overpowered in vanilla gameplay, to the point where the game is too easy and there's no reason to use the default weapons. Very few people are going to be using this mod on servers with extra Infected health so I think it would be best to split this mod in two and satisfy everyone :praisesun:
