Asep_Hejo 15 Mar @ 10:27pm

Hello how are you ? Can i use this mod WITH Medieval Overhaul ? I ask this question because Medieval Overhaul already have an alchemy system. Thanks for the answer ^^
aRTEMIISH  [author] 24 Feb @ 8:18am
@Shira i use their code, so i can't really do that
Shira 23 Feb @ 12:21am
can we get a non VE brewing version?

The mod is amazing but I just there's an Syr Processor Framework version since this mod looks really good in medieval gameplay and MO uses Syr's

@KΞNTΛR i made the ingredients discussion for that, so if you have a suggestions just post it there and i might try to figure it out
KΞNTΛR 16 Aug, 2024 @ 4:08am
Do you take suggestions? I wanted to suggest something but to be honest I don't even know how complicated would it be to create haha
ジャッキー・ザ・トキ 15 Aug, 2024 @ 11:42am
Hoping to see this for 1.4
aRTEMIISH  [author] 22 Jul, 2024 @ 11:24am
@Scorpio it's supposed to disappear quickly and heal all non-permanent injuries, i need more information to figure out what the problem you're having is
Scorpio 21 Jul, 2024 @ 11:17am
Healing nanites don't seem to work . the hedfif shows but disappears in a instant and heals nothing
Tsagoi 14 Jul, 2024 @ 5:15am
You're welcome. You may also need to do the same for Artemiish_PreAnimaLiqueurJar in AnimaLiqueur.xml.
aRTEMIISH  [author] 13 Jul, 2024 @ 10:47pm
@Tsagoi oh, that makes sense now, thanks
Tsagoi 12 Jul, 2024 @ 6:29pm
@ProfileName I ran into the same issue, and thanks to your clues, noticed that dev mode spawned healroot must didn't cause the problem. The crafted one's properties, meanwhile, showed as vegetarian and had herbal medicine (which is inedible) as an ingredient.
Editing RootSpirit.xml to delete the following line from below the Artemiish_RootMust def fixed the issue for me:
<li Class="CompProperties_Ingredients"/>
aRTEMIISH  [author] 10 Jul, 2024 @ 9:52am
@A29 check this mod's description and Vanilla Brewing Expanded's description to see the different effects ingredients have when mixed
i think tea and beer just don't have any effects when mixed
IdLoveToEntangleOurGuts 9 Jul, 2024 @ 6:09pm
is it supposed to be mixed with things like tequila for tequila buffs and stuff?
IdLoveToEntangleOurGuts 9 Jul, 2024 @ 6:08pm
if i believe correctly it was tea and beer
aRTEMIISH  [author] 9 Jul, 2024 @ 5:51pm
@A29 what ingredients did you use?
IdLoveToEntangleOurGuts 9 Jul, 2024 @ 4:17pm
the medieval one, specifically the potion lab. i just found out only he exquisite ones are mixable.
aRTEMIISH  [author] 9 Jul, 2024 @ 3:28pm
@A29 i need more details, like what workbench you used
IdLoveToEntangleOurGuts 8 Jul, 2024 @ 8:06pm
how do i brew potions? my colonist made one yet it isnt mixed with anything.
ProfileName 6 Jul, 2024 @ 1:47pm
Well, it's one of those weird and wild errors that you wouldn't get under normal circumstances. (it's barely mentioned in the Rimworld discord, this kind of error, so-)
I have no idea what exactly causes it, still. But I do believe making the Healroot component either ingestible with no attached ingredients *or* making the healroot must uningestible/have no attached ingredients could fix this wild bug of sorts...
I'm not an expert, though.
aRTEMIISH  [author] 6 Jul, 2024 @ 1:00pm
@ProfileName i couldn't find the error in the log, also couldn't reproduce the bug, so i have no idea whats going on
ProfileName 28 Jun, 2024 @ 10:45am
Minor (major) problem, Healroot Must might be causing problems when pawns (thanks to PUAH/While You're Up) can't exactly haul it.
Someone said that it might be because it uses uningestible (can't be eaten) ingredients as part of the item itself, while said Must is ingestible (can be eaten).

Have a log. I think it helps?

I am doing a pre-neolithic > tribal > medieval playthrough. This mod and potions! were no brainer additions, but I narrowed down an issue with potions! injectors and tribal medicine in particular

Opening the information window for an injector spams the log with an error and the window goes blank. I tried with potions! and Argonic Core and it works, but potions! and Argonic Care + Tribal Medicine produces the error

You can recreate this issue by loading Rimworld, DLCs, Potions!, Argonic Core, and Tribal Medicine (and obviously their dependencies). Going into a quick test scenario and spawning any of the potions! injectors. Then opening their information window

I posted this in Tribal Medicine's page as well, but I am also letting you know in case you have time to check it out

@Priest Of Fern i did a dumb, should be fixed now
Priest Of Fern 6 Jun, 2024 @ 11:26am
Is the healroot spirit supposed to make natural healing factor worse? Currently, drinking it gives a hediff with %80 Natural healing factor
Hizzoe 3 Jun, 2024 @ 1:14pm
10/10, I could not handle their strongest potions.
Lemon caro 3 Jun, 2024 @ 12:27pm
i could see this becoming a really good mod if it had more potions

☭Commissar Midnight Man☭ 2 Jun, 2024 @ 1:15pm
basically go juiice but better
ProfileName 2 Jun, 2024 @ 9:39am
Right, right. I was slightly confused.

Honestly my colony is just incredibly screwy at the minute when you look at it - the materials don't match the anything going on with it, so that's why I had to ask.
The Dutchman 2 Jun, 2024 @ 9:09am
@ProfileName Obviously...
aRTEMIISH  [author] 2 Jun, 2024 @ 9:09am
@ProfileName yes? its not locked to lower tech, and injectors are supposed to be the more refined higher tech version of potions
aRTEMIISH  [author] 2 Jun, 2024 @ 9:07am
@Bleeding Eyes Mcgee they're faster to drink, lighter and don't go bad, also they're lower tech than cocktails
ProfileName 2 Jun, 2024 @ 8:57am
Wait, can this be used in a non-medieval world?
Bleeding Eyes Mcgee 2 Jun, 2024 @ 4:16am
Is there any gameplay reason to use potions over cocktails? They appear to have the exact same effects and cost, but the mod's description implies that potions have a mood debuff despite providing no advantages over cocktails.
Robosium 2 Jun, 2024 @ 4:09am
@MajorityOfTheInternet it's a large buff, makes a psychically deaf pawn more sensitive than baseline, besides when you have your caster dripped out if eltex gear already the only other use for it is to give to the empire

besides an eltex meteor gives quite a bit of it so using some of it to make a combat stim isn't too bad
Latex Santa 2 Jun, 2024 @ 12:04am
Pretty cool mod, waiting on more updates. This will be useful for a fantasy run.
Latex Santa 2 Jun, 2024 @ 12:04am
@✠ DFSpecter
Was that a reference to The Noob webcomic?
MajorityOfTheInternet 1 Jun, 2024 @ 5:00pm
Do I have to crush the eltex ore from VPE? That seems very high cost for something one use and temporary effects
✠ DFSpecter 1 Jun, 2024 @ 1:55pm
"Potion Seller! Enough of these games! I'm going into battle and I require only your strongest potions!"
aRTEMIISH  [author] 1 Jun, 2024 @ 12:39pm
@MercuryRiver as @Robosium said, VE is needed for basically everything in this mod :(
The Dutchman 1 Jun, 2024 @ 8:03am
@aRTEMIISH The fork on github by ViralReaction
Robosium 1 Jun, 2024 @ 5:59am
@MercuryRiver
you can always use cherry picker to remove the stuff you don't like
and I'm pretty sure it needs VCE for the abrosia jelly and crushed eltex, since those are condiments
and vbe is needed for the potions to gain benefits depending on what is mixxed into them, since they're just reskinned cocktails
