Hello, I made a mod based on your mod EVA. It's a patch of CER, a version that re-balanced the Cut Efficiency instead of removing it. It's fully credited to you and if there's a problem you have full control over it.

Here is the mod if you would want to see:

чтобы отображались иконки брони я поставил мод самым последним

No idea. Icons and the ranger armor work fine for me. Maybe it's a conflict? Try messing around with your load orders or playing with only my mod enabled in a new game. Also try deleting the mod's icons in Kenshi's data folder.

i have the same issue as tombi, love the mod but makes it hard to know what you're getting at a glance, makes trying to find a specific armor you saw in a shop very annoying.
tombi 9. juli kl. 7:34
why do none of the armors in this modpack have inventory textures ? also , the ranger armor doesnt have any texture whatsoever so the torso becomes invisible
DJPelotas 6. juli kl. 11:05
Would be nice only hats and helmet on flotsam ninja Jounin like vanilla not on flotsam ninja :).
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 23:39
Specifically the medium ragpants are named ragpants heavy, so the name just has to be corrected back to medium.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 23:32
Ignore my last comment, I had the load order wrong. Yes, that mod seems to be the cause. It looks like only name of the armor is wrong, not the blueprint. It's something the author has to fix, but I honestly have no idea how that mod works.
Tecness 30. juni kl. 22:11
Alright, after annoyingly testing and narrowing it down.
MEGA All-In-One Compatibility Pack is the cause. HOWEVER, it is only the cause if it's loaded first. If it's loaded second, it works fine? And I don't understand?
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 12:52
Tecness, It's correct in my game. I would check for mods that are overwriting mine.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 12:47
Crest, you need tech level 4.
Tecness 30. juni kl. 6:42
I also looked through it and it does link to Ragpants - Medium. It might be an issue with my game, but would you check if it works correctly in your game?
Crest 30. juni kl. 4:54
Does anyone know what bench and tech is needed to make ashland turtlenecks?
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 29. juni kl. 13:26
I'm not sure how that's happening, but I've checked several times in the FCS and the blueprint is correct.
Tecness 29. juni kl. 9:05
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 28. juni kl. 13:11
I checked the blueprint and it only enables the medium ragpants. I did consider a MA increase to the blindfold, but I'm leaning towards logically it shouldn't. I'd also say not having a MA penalty is already a bonus.
Tecness 28. juni kl. 11:22
Ragpants - Medium research blueprint allows the user to craft Ragpants - Heavy.
And an opinion/suggestion is the Blindfold should increase martial arts. Not for any logical reason, just moreso, there's a decent amount of blind martial artists in fiction.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 26. juni kl. 16:55
Thanks. I'll consider your opinion
Bolt-action Jack 26. juni kl. 15:00
This mod is absolutely amazing btw. Thank you for making this.
Bolt-action Jack 26. juni kl. 14:55
Yeah I feel like Ranger armor is in line with other heavy armors, except for the resistances. The 10% leg armor is minor. The resistances are cool and help the armor differentiate from other heavies, but 80% resistance is probably excessive.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 24. juni kl. 13:10
Thanks for the feedback, it's very helpful. I can miss a few things, as you've pointed out. I'll sort out the stats for the ragpants, rebel armor, and the samurai elite npc.

Yeah, I don't really like the knight armor either, but it's kind of too late to remove it at this point. That said, it is added to like two npcs in a dangerous zone and recently, optional to unlock. The ranger armor is probably my favorite armor that I've made, so I was a bit biased when balancing it. I'll set it right next update.

If you find anything else, feel free to share.
perfect_Prefect 24. juni kl. 8:48
Additionally, I feel Heavy Ranger Armor needs to be toned down a bit. It has excellent protection values, 100% coverage (plus an extra 10% for legs), and on top of that, 80% resistance to Acid and Burning - that’s just too overpowered. It feels like an “all-in” armor. At least the resistances need a nerf.
For the record: I currently like this mod. My critiques aren’t meant to just tear it down. I only want to see a good mod become even better.
perfect_Prefect 24. juni kl. 7:19
I also find it odd that some samurai elite (who occasionally attack my outpost) wear something like Ronin’s Samurai Armor, which has mediocre protection and coverage, with the stomach barely protected at all (10% coverage).

And IMHO: I don’t like the knight armor set (specifically the armor and helmet). It looks too... medieval, which feels somewhat out of place in the context of the game. But maybe that’s just me.
perfect_Prefect 24. juni kl. 7:19
I haven’t had the chance to fully explore all the new armor yet, but I have a few critiques regarding the armor I’ve already found.
Some armors have a noticeable mismatch between their descriptions, visuals, and actual stats. For example, Ragpants Heavy: the description suggests they’re practically rags, and visually, they look like tattered pants with a few metal inserts that don’t even cover half of them. Yet, their stats are surprisingly strong, only slightly worse than vanilla Samurai Legplates. The same issue applies to Rebel Samurai Armor: the description paints it as battle-worn armor that’s seen too many fights, and it looks the part. However, its stats are barely inferior to vanilla Samurai Armour. Moreover, this armor visually leaves the back almost entirely unprotected, but the stats not only fail to reflect this—they actually show higher coverage than the vanilla Samurai Armour.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 23. juni kl. 14:32
I get it, but in this case, the word ranger is meant more like a wanderer or drifter in Kenshi. I tried to recreate the veteran ranger armor visually for Kenshi, but not any of the lore because it wouldn't be balanced for gameplay. So, it's just the name of the armor, it's not tied to crossbows or fallout lore.
rollingeggswithtea 23. juni kl. 9:46
@Deodexed It does feel odd that the armor for the well known snipers(besides 1st Recon) of the NCR that it gives ranged weapon skill malus here, it is a heavy armor so understandable that it has the heavy armor malus.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 20. juni kl. 22:44
It’s a reference to Fallout New Vegas. It's a heavy armor in this mod, so it has a debuff to crossbows like the other heavy armors in kenshi.
Санаэ Котия 20. juni kl. 16:47
Maybe it's a reference to the fact that most rangers in Kenshi wear armors that have debuffs on crossbow skills xd
88jaybird 20. juni kl. 16:45
the ranger armor has a huge debuff to the crossbow skill? am i missing something?
gwydn 18. juni kl. 23:29
legendary mod, i couln't go without
Starempire42 14. juni kl. 12:48
@toma9742009 perfectly fine (using a collection that uses it)
toma9742009 14. juni kl. 7:07
Hello, it's work with UWE mod ?
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 14. juni kl. 0:42
@Starempire42, The dye system can be kinda funky with certain armors and color maps can take up a lot of space. These reasons are mostly why I havent touched the dye system that much. But Ill look into adding more colorable armor where i can.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 14. juni kl. 0:29
yeah that will be easy to do, ive added it for the next update. No worries on the text wall, I appreciate it a lot when people take time to leave suggestions or comments.
Kozmik 13. juni kl. 18:21
What @Starempire42 said actually reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to ask.

Would you ever be willing to make the samurai armor variants colorable like how they are in "Improved Samurai Set Colormap," or at least have a patch between the two?

Hell, I’ll even commission it, if you want.

One of the reasons why I like this mod so much is because armor sets exist as entire families, which allows the player to have characters serve various roles while maintaining an overall aesthetic. Uniformity, basically.

And by having more armors be colorable, especially ones as common as samurai armor, the player has even more ways to maintain a faction aesthetic while still allowing their characters to perform various functions.

(Improved Samurai Colormap, in case you’ve never seen it before)

PS: Sorry about the text wall. I *REALLY* like this mod. :beeped: :beeped:
Starempire42 13. juni kl. 10:54
Yeah your mod is godamn peak :steamhappy: Only thing I wish is that everything could be dyed, :steamsad: but oh well you can't have everything I suppose
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 12. juni kl. 16:25
Hey thanks glad to hear it!
Gguy 12. juni kl. 16:02
The amount of variation this adds is amazing. I really love this creation.
Resistance Band. 4. juni kl. 19:30
@Deodexed great, thanks for your willingness! I’ll look forward to that update, it’s a design choice I really appreciated in Make Holy Nation Great Again
Croctus 4. juni kl. 18:38
Thank you. It was a problem on my end making it not dye.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 4. juni kl. 14:38
yeah sorry about the confusion. I'll fix it soon.
The Bloody Lady 4. juni kl. 14:21
@Deodexed thank you, although I did dig around in the FCS after my previous comment to see what was going on and realize it was a blueprint only research, I wish I had known that lol. May be worth adding it to the mod description page her and on Nexus to note that the Advanced Armor Smithing is blueprint locked.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 4. juni kl. 13:45
@The Bloody Lady it spawns at scraphouse. though I'll most likely change it to appear at the research bench since you're not the first to have trouble finding the blueprint.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 4. juni kl. 13:42
@Resistance Band, Yes I can do that.
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 4. juni kl. 13:40
@Croctus I believe the vanilla tagelmust is colorable.
The Bloody Lady 4. juni kl. 12:55
Hello, I cannot find research option "Advanced Armor Smithing" anywhere, even with a level 6 research bench and all other crafting options researched. I have already tried importing the save.
Resistance Band. 2. juni kl. 20:53
Hello! Amazing mod, thank you for this. Would it be possible to have a version of the Heavy Holy Chest Plate that has dye enabled on the shoulder and arm plates too?
Croctus 2. juni kl. 16:05
This mod is great. I love the new update and particularly the update to the padded can. Anyway that color map can be applied to the normal tagelmust because it looks really good.
Kozmik 27. maj kl. 22:33
@Deodexed Aww hell yeah.

Also, having played fashion Kenshi for five years now, this mod is definitely in my top five. Shit's dope, man.:cactusrum:
Deodexed  [ophavsmand] 27. maj kl. 18:23
yeah I'll be making race specific armor at some point. Soldiers have a really weird head shape if I do make something for them it'll probably be like face plates or something. I think hives expanded does it really well though. I'll most likely make a design similar to the soldier helmet in that mod.
