If it was something you wanted to change, you'd just need to change the stasis check to:
"if shouldBeInStasis and not c.character.HasAbilityFlag(1024) then"

..You just contradicted yourself "Content from the top has priority among content from the bottom."
Reread that sentence, that directly translates to, stuff on top has priority over the stuff in the bottom of the list, ergo, it loads top to bottom, because the top is counted as most important. Fact check next time.
Mods go from bottom to top. In-game tip says "content from top of the list have priority among content from bottom" so it means it loads from bottom to top, so first mods that loads is bottom ones, then in case of any overlaps it got rewrite by content of mods above. May say also for sure as i re-arranged mods and looked what content i got and it always from mods above.
A dev said in 2021 in a general discussion that the game loads mods top to bottom, don't spread misinformation.
If neurotrama is above any of the addon mods then they will get overwritten by neurotrama and any changes they were intended to make will not be made as barotrauma will be looking to the base Neurotrama mod for it's references as opposed to the addon which is intended to overwrite the original mod file.
You mod works perfectly in my game with my load order. I don't get any errors that open my console or break my game.
A lot of people make this mistake including mod creators. I cannot think of another game that loads bottom to top like Barotrauma does.
1k+ hours, less than 50 of those vanilla I bet.

lot of people don't know this or think the patches "just work" but server runs bad and has problems
and I get yelled at about it constantly lol
