@hf61 check the lines in pdxmap.shader for "earthy", "terrain", smth like that around last 4/4 of those lines

Is it possible to make it like in Crusader Kings 3, where if you zoom out you see the whole country (France) or empire (HRE) and when you zoom in you see all the several vassals?

Very good mod. Could you please tell me how to change distance from which terrain becomes visible? I assume its somewhere around 600 line, but thats the first time i mod these files, so i have no idea.

I've found it!

It is the line:

float lightingAmount = 0.6f;

Upon the mod you are using just tweak near 0.8/0.9!

Works great!

@Clark Crente open this mod's gfx\FX\pdxmap.shader, go to line 613, you'll find the functions I used to make the colors a bit more sepia-toned (just my personal preference). Line 617 desaturates the colors by that factor of 0.2 and line 618 applies an earthy tone by that factor of 0.1. If you delete these two lines the colors will be vanilla again. Intead, if you want to make them even more saturated (alive), use a number greater than 1 in line 617 instead of 0.2. Sorry the code is not that well documented
