Very strong generic component. Easy to use and configure. Great work! As constructive criticism, I would add a small mute button on the display for the buzzer. Even though the buzzer function is right, is gets annoying of very long run. It would be nice to be able to shut it down when not needed. I will add it in your controller, but I think that it is the only thing really missing.

OK, so i found out by messing around with the physics sensor that it MUST be in the upright position as shown in the photo. NOT laying on it's side or upside down!! otherwise the radar sweep will go all jumpy on you. i hope this solved your radar issue with your awesome creations.

I'm letting you know that im going to post a boat that i built using your micro controller for its radar.
I'm crediting you and putting a link down to your creation thank you!

Hello @Doughy_Hamboney, it works on all the monitors but I advise against 1x1, 1x2 and 1x3, they are too small to display all the relevant information and GUI.

Hello @Jax_the_wolf, if you mean if this will detect missiles, it does but there are more effective ways for detecting them.
Jax_the_wolf 12 Mar @ 2:11pm
can this work is a missile radar?
Doughy_Hamboney 27 Feb @ 5:23pm
What types of monitors can this work on? i remember something about 1X1 and 2X2 monitors but would it work with 3X3 monitors? Also i feel like there should be a mode for sweeping radars
Sleeper____ 26 Feb @ 3:01pm
Okay. I tested it with just the Sonar and it worked fine too.
Zizo  [author] 26 Feb @ 7:23am
Hello @Sleeper____, you can also use just the radar by disabling the sonar. Have a look at the setup section in the description.
Sleeper____ 22 Feb @ 12:28pm
Is both a radar and sonar required for this to work or could you just have one or the other?

I don't like green dot on radar I changed to red dot better to see. Easy change colours 255,0,0 at line 74 & Char 1914 in lua

255,0,0 is red
0,255,0 is green
0,0,255 is blue

Worked great on high resolution monitor from other mod (more monitors)
Howdthathapn 13 Jan @ 7:31am
@GabeTeuton thanks man, i honestly forgot i could select the radar and change all that!!! Working now
GabeTeuton 12 Jan @ 8:44pm
@howdthathapn check your FOVs, FOV means field of view, if your x and y are too narrow (and not pitched), that means the radar can barely see anything (though it gives you lots of distance), try to reduce the x and increase the y, if it's in an airplane and it's upside down, you may also want to pitch it down (up from the perspective of the radar, so the "cone" made by the FOV setting will be aiming kinda down, there's a creation on the workshop that allows you to see the FOV represented by visible lasers, you may want to plug your values there and when you see the final FOV you'll surely realize the issue
Howdthathapn 12 Jan @ 6:36pm
can this be used with the radar on the bottom of say a plane?? ive got it there and doesnt seem to be detecting anything
Ω Compu 6 Jan @ 10:06pm
it shows up as a vehicle, since it's meant to show u how to set it up
camdizzle2011 6 Oct, 2024 @ 3:54pm
Can I use this in mu creation and credit you for it?
LPD 13 Sep, 2024 @ 12:31pm
absolute masterpiece!
AnatoleAndCasper 4 Sep, 2024 @ 4:43am
Cant find the vehicle/Microcontroller any idea why? I've restarted my game twice
Ω Compu 26 Aug, 2024 @ 5:47pm
i'm using this on my tugboat which is 40 meters long
Zizo  [author] 26 Aug, 2024 @ 8:42am
Hello @Compu, I can't remember if the sonar had to be mirrored, but if the arrow are correct as in the picture, everything is fine.
I will add an offset setting in the future, I felt it wasn't necessary since usually the vehicle isn't as big and an exact precision isn't needed.
Ω Compu 23 Aug, 2024 @ 9:55am
would u consider adding an offset option that would allow telling the microcontroller the position of the sonar and physics sensor relative to the radar so i can adjust it's calculations?
Ω Compu 20 Aug, 2024 @ 8:47am
i had to mirror the sonar to get it it upside down with the positive arrow pointing to the right, is that correct?
Nitty_Gritty1 16 Aug, 2024 @ 5:26pm
Hello @Zizo, no problem. Thank you for the prompt response, I appreciate it. I always try to give great creations the proper attention. I think I may have mistyped my description, as I meant that, for example, if map color 1 is selected as default, then when spawned, the map erroneously displays the number 2 (while still displaying the proper map), and vice versa. It seems as if the loop (first 1, then 2, then 3, then back to 1) gets advanced by one when selecting map color 1, and reduced by one when selecting map color 2. It is simple a small bug, which only affects the numbers, not the maps themselves. Also, I love the cheese map, it's my favorite :-)
Zizo  [author] 16 Aug, 2024 @ 9:16am
Hello @Nitty_Gritty1, thanks for the feedback. The (1,2,3) button won't have a N or D as the player can swap which is which by the color selection setting. So also the order of the colors and the default color at spawn can be different for each setup.
I'll look into the blueprint map issue, you might be the only one that noticed most of the people uses the default colors.
Nitty_Gritty1 16 Aug, 2024 @ 7:39am
Hello @Zizo, this is an incredible creation, there are only two small graphical issues that I found while using it. First, the top number (1,2,3) for different map modes seems to be reversed (1 & 2) if selecting a map mode to spawn with (I personally would change it to 1,2 and n for none, or d (day), n (night), n (none)). Second, the range text is unreadable on the blueprint map, as the background is the same color. Apart from these minor issues, it seems to be amazing, can't wait to use this in my creations (with appropriate credit, of course) in the future!

Oh wow that was fast, thanks a lot! Legend!
Zizo  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 8:00am
Hello @Raio Verusia, I just uploaded this microprocessor that allows for using up to 5 systems on a single monitor. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3309651696
Sable Winters 14 Aug, 2024 @ 6:30am
Zizo, would it be possible to release a switchbox of sorts to hook all your MCs up to and toggle for compact monitor setups?
sealon_musk 11 Aug, 2024 @ 3:15am
credit required?? :steamhappy:
Vetmitar 3 Aug, 2024 @ 10:22pm
radar jumps when spinning do you know if this might be a processing issue or something incorrect (can link creation)
Suportik 1 Jul, 2024 @ 2:33pm
Never mind everything works and i am just stupid :)
Suportik 1 Jul, 2024 @ 1:34pm
The map does not move.
mrchris666 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:27pm
i think i designed it wrong. as nothings popping up on radar. is it because i dont have a sonar?
no clue 7 Jun, 2024 @ 5:53pm
The green thing on the screen, I meant
no clue 7 Jun, 2024 @ 5:51pm
The thing isn't spinning for some reason
thelackey3141 7 Jun, 2024 @ 3:49pm
the map won't work

Looks like i lost my place on the front page to a radar and sonar, With my big old ship its fine tho pretty cool radar
Echoless 5 Jun, 2024 @ 8:31pm
Thank you very much Zizo, wonderful creations as always!
Zizo  [author] 5 Jun, 2024 @ 9:02am
Hello @MightBeJoe_TTV, radar picks up everything, objects included, so every little thing around the map will be a signature. The radar can't figure out what is what so there is no way to filter anything we don't want. If there really is nothing, check the correct placement of sensors.
MightBeJoe 5 Jun, 2024 @ 4:09am
so, basically, i fitted this radar onto my plane but it keeps piking up random signatrues wich when i fly over is usually like a building or mound of dirt, do you happen to know how to fix that?
Zizo  [author] 4 Jun, 2024 @ 12:53pm
Hello Echoless, thanks for the suggestion. You can now disable the frame in the microprocessor settings
Echoless 3 Jun, 2024 @ 5:47pm
Can we get one that uses the whole monitor?
