does this still work?

Stahe. say, when it gets out of sensor range, thrusters fire, gyro turns it- it dectets asteroid, stops and goes foward to mine... it will be such as a meter or so away from the first hole.

I'm trying to figure out how it's able to turn around and start mining again once it exits.. Anyone by chance know what setting(s) this would be?

This is a cool mining drone! It works so well!

Hey Sage! I love this drone, but I seem to have a high failure ratio with drills while working. Almost every other trip through a large asteroid costs me a drill. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid this while still using the autominer feature?

Dear Sage

This is one great little drone shop.

I recentley bought SE due to the awesome adventures on the Sage and LSG channels.

Being a noob I decided as a training exercise to reverse engineer and upscale Ploutos with Demeter (hopfully now pumlishe) being the result.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and the nuts and bolts are pretty much all there, but having clocked only 26 hours game time the group actions, and funtions are, as yet, beyond me.

The Idea inspired by Ploutos that in turn lead to Demeter is not only to gain resources, but to also prep asteroids for covert bases much like the one in the first season of Survival.

Whole automining is still beyond me, I have managed to equip Demeter with the ability to contol Ploutos drones remotely and also carry up to six Ploutos drones into an are to mine.

If you want to tinker or improve on the work I have done based on your designs please do. The design is your after all.

Yours Jx

@TjThaz While in-game, F10 opens the blueprints menu. You'll find it there.

nice one sage

After i subscribed, how do i get it into the game?

After i saw the first survival video with Ploutos i tried to build my own - didnt work out very well. So glad you uploaded this, thanks :D

Much appreciated.

@stahe101 Check the ship/station you have connected it to, the _ControlMe_ group should be in there now, since the system gets confused on the two ships and thinks of them as one at this point.
Stahe 19 Oct, 2014 @ 6:05pm
I seem to of ran into a problem. When I connect the ship to drop things off, I lose access to be able to control it once connected. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I use this EVERY time I start a scene! Excellent control, awesome design. LOVIN IT!

This is an amazing Drone. Loving the design and functionality. Would be easy to build in survival too.

Your video on this lil guy was VERY helpfull, keep up the good work!

I've never seen a mining drone that was...elegant... :O

This is a sweet little drone I had fun a week ago reverse engineering it from watching your Joint Survival Series. I learned a lot from doing that and managed build a large drone that does 2.5 times more mining and has a large container for storage. I now have the issue of to much ore and no way to refine or store it all.

This lead me to see how small I could make one. I managed to make one that is smaller than
Ploutos in size has 2 medium containers and drill the same amount of materials. Think I can make it a tad smaller too.

The point is Sage built a hell of a drone that has inspired me to be more creative. I may never build a standard utility ship again (drones all the way). Keep up the good work Sage, your designs inspire us all to push the limits of Space Enginering.

Thank you Sage for uploading ploutos i have made a mining drone of my own but I had run into a few problems with the sensor, I thought that you would have to use two sensors... Again thanks for the upload.

SAGE!!!!!!! Dude how can i send a document with a space engineer design to you at? i would like to send it to you because you and Aaron seem to get blocks created very quickly through KHS because of your popularity on youtube. i am very sure you will think my idea is very good and you and Aaron will probably both jump on it quickly to post something that will get attention.... PM me if you would like to assist a fellow Engineer . maybe you could even make a mod block of my idea your self and get people to download it through you....?
Golden Dragon 13 Oct, 2014 @ 2:52pm
Perfect!
Чувак - это охренительно! Практически автономный дрон бурильщик, значительной частью из легкой брони, который бурит практически ровные туннели и не убивается в них...
p.s.
Недособранные маршевые движки - баг или фича?
