@Sch1zk , how should you load this since it does have the ability to change a lot of movement and motions with zombies.

on my friend's screen he's running, but on my screen he's walking

Hmmmm limited testing but it seems to not have fixed my issue :(
would you also be able to add a Force animation state to the check please I think this will help fix the issue I have? :)

Wait WTF

let me explain my issue I have had for many months now

I run a dedi server on one PC and play from another PC. I connect to my server VIA LAN and my bro connects VIA WAN.

Now the issue we get is every so often (pretty much all the time) my brothers running animation will stop showing for me and some times vice versa.
If he is running he can see him self run on his PC but I can only see him walking even though he is running.

Will this trigger a re sync of such animation to start working again?

If so mate you have created the best mod on workshop right now :O

Yeah I think that automatically like once per second thing would be a good option for those of us playing with just one or two other players.

got my friend killed (played splitscreen), and got 2 friends killed as we played 3 way splitscreen, do not reccomend if you're using the share play function it just kind of fucks everything up (at least for me and my other friend)

This mod already works in pve. Just set weapon swing to on and you wont desync in combat anymore. use the hotkey for non combat reload.

I love your mod, which is working incredible well. For now, for now I'm waiting for some kind of PVE update, it is already good with zombies hitting sync, but I was hoping for something that could check position every "x" seconds.

As I would play with max of 4 friends it would be amazing that they never desync and would not require much from my PC.

Sorry for the bad ENG, is not my first language.

I was hoping that u and other modders like @DaNiG from "Syncing vehicle animations" and @MrBunny_666 from "VehicleSyncMP" could work togheter on a "Ultimate MP Sync Patch"

If this happens on every attack, can i just have it happen once per second or something?

Just playing with 1 other player, so i can't imagine that this would cause much more serverload than having it happen on every attack.

И то, и другое. Скорее всего архитектура неткода не рассчитана на значительную отдаленность пользователя от серверов, да и нестабильность соединения. Тут только пробовать фиксить интернет и ждать, пока разрабы снова перелопатят неткод для транспорта.

Когда играю на западных серверах, то при использовании транспорта пинг подлетает и меня самого просто по карте швыряет рывками (а бывает и просто машина на месте остается, несмотря на то, что у других игроков она нормально ездит). Проблема в самом интернете или зомбоидовский неткод шалит?

New option can help with zombie desync. Be careful, it's experimental and I'm not sure it'll work ok. Pls if you got bugs report them here!

Quick question, how do you set the key to request other players' position from the server? I have another mod that has something already bound to that key. I believe it's for gun attachments. I tried hitting the '\' key anyways and it didn't seem to do anything. So I'm guessing that I need to assign an unused key. Is there a way to assign a key for this action?

By the way, I have the 'force sync' option checked in the mod options already.

Соглы, верно говорите. Надеюсь что выход 42 билда не помешает множеству популярных модам быть совместимыми с ней (у самого штук за 300 переваливает), иначе будет тяжко возвращаться в игру даже при наличии нового движка игры

@Денчик не стоит терять веру) разрабы умнички, что вообще довели игру хоть до какого-то ума, учитывая весь тернистый путь который им пришлось пройти. Они могли бросить все это как многие другие уже очень давно, но тем не менее мы получили замечательный 41 билд.

В общем, ваш мод не выглядит как костыль. Когда там разработчики делали обновление 41 билда а конкретно доработку МП? Давно.. Как они сами говорят, они работают над 42 билдом но мне кажется, в 42 будут те же проблемы с МП что и в 41) Они не захотели реализовать ускорение времени в МП, описывая это как "технически сложную механику", в то время как чел сделал мод и он ПРЕКРАСНО работает. Веру в разрабов я потерял уже очень давно..

Do you plan on messing with vehicle desync and / or zombie desync? Vehicle desync would be absolutely amazing as the game is terrible with it to the point it makes vehicles feel unplayable in MP. Zed desync isn't as bad but can still be a pain. I know there's more work in to it than I'll ever understand but is it something you ever see as on the table soon or in the near future?

@sc1zk - oh good lord, that option sounds amazing. I'm mostly looking forward to using this mod for PVE play. The amount of times we have to reboot the server because of desync issues is ridiculous. It really sounds like this mod will help save a lot of time with that.

Nope, but I can add sandbox option that will be turned off by default that if you hit zombie it'll be synced to other players too

My mod is like a crutch xD But it works. Devs are working on fixing netcode and desync problems, but they definetly should think about forcing sync on certain events.

Clothes, guns, and vehicles are all nice. But its modders like you who pick out the boring fixes to make that really pull us together. Thanks friend

This mod should help only when on foot, it's not touching any vehicle code. I not tested players behavior when they're inside vehicle, still.
Mod forcing updating other players positions when:
- You swing any melee weapon
- You pushing, even just air
- You shooting
- Other player pushing, swining weapon or shooting
- Other player has been hit.

does this help with syncing up players position when in cars and there skipping around or just on foot when PvP?
