Yeah, it's probably not this. According to a log it has to do with har-ganeth attacking valkia.

Shouldn’t be this Aurora, play with it myself and haven’t observed that yet, but, noted for if I do.

Har-Ganeth crashes me during its turn, but I am unsure if this is due to this or another Druchii specific mod.
Looking into it right now, not entirely sure how to find out what exactly causes the crash on AI turn.

I'm lucky enough to not have the slow down, but as someone who works on both DE and AI mod, yeah I noticed the spam something mighty fierce lately. I knew from comments that it was murdering end turn phase for some folks tho, hence the campaign load cull, after that point you could even turn the mod right off and prob all good, cos, they gone, and with the CA fix, you're good. Unless want insurance of making sure they can literally never get past a certain limit with this mod right :D

Thank you for your mod! The dark elves were spawning so many arks mid-to-late game the turns slowed dramatically as the AI moved it's many arks. Don't know if this was your intention, but your mod has sped up the game noticeably, making it much more enjoyable.

New version of the war dec script is pretty cool fyi. Tested tf outta it just now, and if looking for something with more AI war declarations along their borders for factions they dislike, well, it may be what looking for right now(also just chuffed finally got fing thing working xD).

See if limiting stuff like arks helps AI at all, give me some idea if worth it to further investigate scripting options on the matter, or if the db settings alone can solve it.

@kyris right? with the mod kinghamza262 is talking about I'm trying to remedy that all around, arks, land armies of specific factions, just...fill your armies up bro lol. Exact cause and fix still eludes me to this day though. Makes me cringe too, land armies included when in late game and all just, bleh...uni-stacks.

I always wondered how this happened though in truth usually AI black ark army composition is very poor (( usually just stack of corsairs)) so its not hard to clean them up with a good army

@Canadianhussy at least the second time for WH3 that I have, though usually becomes some kind of preference fix versus what CA does/can do with the base code

Arks were double spawning as script logs of this mod revealed on the last update. (thats what they fixed). Otherwise that update has no bearing on this mod, but ill update the description to reflect.

thx, it was pretty crude until now though, just waiting till it popped then culling the armies.

Now it should conditionally lock out the rite per faction based on their current amount of arks relative to their provinces...and then cull any excess if anything else somehow spawns them into excess. Essentially that's what my original attempts with the script tried to do, but ended up throwing out something that was working due to misreading script logs etc. And the TL;DR version simply is: The AI should now act more like a player and not just keep popping off a rite at times, I think at least as a DE main player, which make zero logical sense.

Don't impact your supply line increase, but they're not free lol, 1 per province isn't some hard and fast rule for me, but it's a good rough estimate of how I recruit more as I play, and here we are lol Anywho, back to sacking Ulthuan I go.

I like your solution much better than preventing the AI from even running the rite. This is a more graceful fix that doesn't arbitrarily cut off an entire game mechanic. Kudos.

Just noticed they did one for Frog Wizards too lol, same deal. Those are editing a db file to completely lock the AI out, mine is a script based work around. Neither, frog wizards, nor arks, should conflict, just a little redundant imo to use both, tho like, if you REALLY want to make sure never any spam from these rites, there ya go lol.

my mod would clear the excess when you load your campaign, while that mod would prevent the AI from ever using the rite, if somehow can still spawn an ark, my mod would still enforce the provincial limits. Best guess without testing at least.

I can try doing a quick dirty swap and posting it(no promises), but I do not have time to test it beyond the basics for next while. In theory, the same kind of script should work though.

Thanks! I don't want the arks to disappear completely but a cap is good. Any chance you could do a similar cap and culling on AI Lizardmen summoning Slann?
