this mod broke my game intros and endings pretty bad. which is weird for something that is only for changing creature colors...
made artificers intro cutscene not load properly so i just showed up in the room without any scavs and couldn't get the drone. also spearmaster's ending cutscene wouldn't play.
plus the getting into rubicon thing didn't work for me at all, instead turning the long fall into a normal death pit.

I do think that this mod could do without the SB_E05SAINT karma level requirement removal though, since its pretty unrelated to the main gist of the mod (giving creatures with VoidSea tag a golden appearence), can kind of break the progression of saint, and is probably a source of some known or unknown bugs. I don't think the change is explicitly bad, I just think it would be better placed in another, perhaps companion, mod. And, I know that multiple people have said the same thing as I have, but maybe there is a good reason for all the comments about it. Once again, I do not think it is a "bad" feature, just maybe not everyone wants to remove the karma level requirement to rubicon alongside the VoidSea tag fixes.

@CritterHeart that's intentional. if a voidsea vulture is stabbed and loses its mask, the mask won't be golden, so i solved it by making voidsea vultures immediately die if they're demasked. i'll probably make it an option in the next update

@zevdragon no it would softlocck you because you can't beat rubicon without some way to kill the guardians. this would be a really nice qol fix of there was a way to toggle on or off that specific fix.

@zevdragon It does *slightly* break The Gourmand's start though. They now spawn on top of the block to the left, and do not spawn with the slightly larger slime mold.

@goober the bug affects me too. none of the scug intros show up anymore, but the campaigns still work the same as normal and there's no exceptionLog. i tried to fix it but couldn't figure out what the problem was, and it's not a very high priority for me since it doesn't actually break anything

@zevdragon I tried switching between multiple mod combos and it only ever broke with this mod added. But since this only affects the void sea creatures I don't know why it would happen.

No clue why this makes every scug just stick on a white screen for me and I literally mean no clue as the console log and exception log give me nothing... I'm sure it's just some random mod conflict and maybe I'll test it later, when something wipes my mods next, to pin it down.

@Kind of Fire105 first of all, you used the wrong "you're". anyway, i already stated that i don't view the karma changes as a problem. saint is the only scug that can access the teleport room in subterranean, and the guardians serve the same purpose of preventing you from accessing the void with low karma.

Could I just have the variation fixes without the Karma stuff? It's a good mod but those other stuff isn't that needed and all. It's good if your making a Void region and for Rubicon itself, but for other stuff? Not so much.

@canariboo that's probably it. that mod adds "variation" to lizards that shouldn't have any. eel, zoop, and train lizards are all broken with that mod enabled.

so uhh i have emerald's tweaks shiny spawn stuff enabled but all the other lizard species work just fine anyways, it seems to just be strawbies.

i did use the voidsea tag but the ones i spawned were pimk :(
ill try again later and i dont use lizard customizer really so we're good there

@canariboo i tested it and they do, in fact, become gold. are you sure you're spawning them with the voidsea tag, not just normal zoop lizards? also DON'T USE LIZARD CUSTOMIZER 👹👹👹 that mod BREAKS lizards.

@mxyzptplk how would it softlock you? i've tested it and it works in-game, and the guardians have the same purpose anyway. besides, that room can only be accessed by saint or scugs that share his worldstate so i don't view it as a problem. this mod was made for fun and isn't meant to be 100% lore-accurate.

?? you shouldn't be able to go to rubicon without max karma, that makes no sense and can softlock your save
