Excellent design, but I notice that a few of the turrets and the artillery guns aren't conveyored up, if you use the buildvision mod it makes them easy to spot.
Osker 11 Aug, 2024 @ 9:09pm
How did I miss this one? This is badass, subbed and upped.
Sevyrs  [author] 25 Jul, 2024 @ 6:33am
Thank you!
Vomsay 25 Jul, 2024 @ 5:54am
Wtf Sevyrs always amazing job
Sevyrs  [author] 20 Jun, 2024 @ 4:43pm
Are the turrets on?
Anubis 20 Jun, 2024 @ 4:36pm
I love this ship but how do I get it to target anything. I can’t get the ship to protect itself.
Firebird_528 20 Jun, 2024 @ 9:51am
@MDFieldMarshal; I really love to hear that, have fun with the ship!
@R³ ; Thank you for this inspirational message, such nice words are really welcome.
@Sevyrs; Thank you for your tipps and also the words.

Yet another masterpiece.
I will point out in a different game, a different genre, a massive ship that acts as a carrier (fighter class ships), a tender (operates patrol boats), packs capital class weapons, and fleet command facilities would be referred to as a "Space Control Ship" SCS. In SE that would probably include a few mining ships and refinery / assembly facilities. You are getting pretty close to that here. =)

Your unfinished projects are not failures, they just haven't found their place yet.
Sevyrs  [author] 18 Jun, 2024 @ 1:06pm
Thank you guys, seriously. Also, R3, that is great advice. I certainly keep my unfinished projects around for the same thing. Sometimes going back and looking at them I wonder how I managed to come up with some of those designs. I plan to release some civi ships that are a kickback to before all these new dlcs and am updating them so I can release them to the ws.

@Firebird_528: My guy, let me tell you something. I took a peek at your workshop and pretty much all of the stuff you have on there is pretty damn amazing. Don't beat yourself up.

It's absolutely not a *bad* thing to have a host of unfinished projects. You learn more from some of those than you do from the stuff you actually wrap up. Just take every one of them as a stepping stone to something better. And if you get bored it's perfectly fine to just lay down the pen and take a break.
You're doing this for fun. And you're pretty damn good at it.

Bro... *slow clap*.

I don't usually look at builds, much less comment on them, but this is honestly one of the cleanest and best looking designs I've seen in the 6+ years I've been playing this game.

Kudos to you my man. Great work. Definitely stealing some design clues from you for my survival builds.
Fascist Pig Bank 18 Jun, 2024 @ 4:43am
Outstanding work Sevyrs!
MDFieldMarshal 18 Jun, 2024 @ 3:39am
@Firebird_528 I like your ships dude, I have your Hydra fighter in a survival world.
Also great fleet carrier, Sevyrs, I will inspire my future carrier after this beautiful vessel.
Sevyrs  [author] 17 Jun, 2024 @ 12:49pm
Fair. Can't really help with that.
Firebird_528 17 Jun, 2024 @ 11:44am
The main problem is that I get bored building on one project, then on the next and guess what happens on the 33th time I start something new. I have an neverending database of unfinished builds and several things that I could release but are now outdated, need refinement or I am just to lazy to take pictures and write my lore for it.
Sevyrs  [author] 17 Jun, 2024 @ 11:39am
Rather than stopping altogether, if younstill have a drive to build, why not refocus your building style?

Maybe take a look at other creators work and see if you can incorporate some of their techniques into your own repertoire and build up from there. You don't have to copy them but learning how they do things can't hurt.

Plus if you're concerned about time, well, the more you build, the faster you get. I build modules so that I can throw a ship together quickly. It helps.
Firebird_528 17 Jun, 2024 @ 11:28am
Guess I should stop the workshop contribution, I dont see a development in my building style and I dont think the people are still interested what miserable shit I put together over a span of months.
Sevyrs  [author] 17 Jun, 2024 @ 10:46am
Ooof
Firebird_528 17 Jun, 2024 @ 10:17am
And I work more than a year on just a frigate ;).
Sevyrs  [author] 17 Jun, 2024 @ 8:45am
Thank you! Yeah. It is one of my larger ships. Soon ill be dropping a space station that will be even larger and then a set of civi ships. All between 1500 ~ 3500 blocks.
Firebird_528 17 Jun, 2024 @ 7:22am
That one is huge. Really like it!
[82DK] wyomingwolf 14 Jun, 2024 @ 1:13pm
That hangar space.. *note's noises*
Sevyrs  [author] 14 Jun, 2024 @ 12:38pm
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Lost-Recon 14 Jun, 2024 @ 12:36pm
Omg, this build is divine! Beautiful work! :se:
Sevyrs  [author] 13 Jun, 2024 @ 7:50pm
Hey glad to hear that you liked it! By all means, strive to improve. Will be looking forward to that hybrid. Be sure to tag me so I can see it when you post!
black_dragon1230 13 Jun, 2024 @ 5:40pm
The outside of the ship is magnificent, but that interior is so good you could just about mistake it for a ship interior in Star Citizen. I can do ok at exterior when im feeling creative, but interior is a no go for me for some reason. I will say though that this gave me some inspiration to go back and try to finish the interior of a hybrid of two Star Citizen ships. Anyway incredible work looking forward to what comes next.
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 13 Jun, 2024 @ 2:13am
Now that's a beast, lol.... nicely done! I also like that hangar concept.
Sevyrs  [author] 12 Jun, 2024 @ 7:35pm
Hahaha have at it.
I already have a new one I wanna try out.
Hvalbein 12 Jun, 2024 @ 7:33pm
Very nice work Sevyrs. Subbed and Upped. Love both of the internal hangers, will be stealing I mean borrowing that design element
Sevyrs  [author] 12 Jun, 2024 @ 6:58pm
I see. While I accept the compliment, I feel that I am just working towards the level of awesomeness that other builders have. Always setting a higher goal and taking reference from unusual places and from IRL allows for some interesting results with the available blocks.

I sometimes hear from people that seeing this kinda stuff makes others want to quit SE altogether but for me, seeing good stuff makes me want to strive for better. Seeing Major Jon, Omega, and many others inspired me to keep pushing. Thanks to that I have gotten better and even enjoy some small recognition in the community.

I really think that if the developers keep at it, we can really get a great game and the constructs can be out of this world.
Rogen 12 Jun, 2024 @ 6:54pm
Now I have examined it in a little more detail and wow, the table design you made with the suspension in the 5th picture looks really great and unusual. I really wish I could make perfect vehicles in this game, but I can't think of any design. But you guys are really legendary, this game has developed incredibly and excellent builders like you have emerged.
Sevyrs  [author] 12 Jun, 2024 @ 6:50pm
Thank you! Glad you like it!
