@BoxernBuffa @Auriee Thanks for the feedback, I actually tried an amber color but I thought it looked a lot better in green. Plus, someone else released "Amber Display" around the same time so I didn't want to step on any toes. I may revisit the idea in the future though.

cool idea but in execution the radar is a bit noisy i feel. still looks good tho

I think green was the wrong choice of color. If you went with the amber/orange color that you can find on computer screens in-game, then it would look better

This fucking rules dude!!! Extremely underrated; amazing attention to detail on the radar ping reflection trick. Well done!

It's a bit noisy, but besides that, saturated green really doesn't fit in TF2's color scheme. I think this would look better if it were an amber/yellow display instead of green, like the spytech computers found in the maps.

I think it looks too noisy but I do like the effect for the radar blips, it's very unique.

@holidaygirl1225 Thanks for the feedback! The smaller radar circles are intentional to create a concentric circle pattern instead of just having empty gaps between the larger ones. Unfortunately the texture is already as big as I can make it. If Valve would let me just code the radar pattern to scale bigger I would. I had to compromise by picking a base that had orientation lock, albedo tint, and four textures. That being said it is possible for the random scaling to make the radar pattern a lot bigger on some rolls.

I love the metal plate texture, very solid war paint overall. Tho... I think the miniature green radar between the larger ones contributes a lot of unnecessary noise. I also think there could be some improvement on the scaling (if possible) that would make the concentric radar bit way larger on the weapon models - it's a bit disorientating to see multiple distinct rings appear side by side.

its not offensive or anything, just that the green radar pattern is way too noisy imo

banger. i need a new green flamethrower

I don't like the green. Add a yellowish tinge to it, which could help

@ancient relic Thanks!

@Mcfighter2 The green is already more desaturated than some in-game greens like Indubitably Green, but thanks for the feedback.

I’d say make the green patter less saturated. Line thickness isn’t that bad of a problem.

Cool.
